Sorry if I am telling you something you already know. When you board they will give each in your party a "card to the world". The card is the only way to make purchases on board. Although they take your info on-line, they ask you to print out the payment authorization sheet with you to check-in. Some people state that they are going to pay in cash. If you are doing that you can either give cash and they will post it to your account or when you reach a $200 debt they send you a message to your room and you must go pay off the account before you can charge more.
You can ask to get a copy of your account anytime during the cruise and they will be provide you with a copy the last night. They break down how much was charged to each card.
It is easy to just hand a card over (somehow it is even easier then giving a credit card) They first cruise we went on our final statement couldn't be slipped under the door - it was to big!!
OH MY! That is my fear. I am going to try and keep a running total of recipts so I dont get that big a surprise.
As for how much wine you can bring on board, I dont know that there is a limit, but you have to schlep it around until your room is ready. You have to carry it on, it can not be in your checked baggage.
Disney and Princess have never said anything to us about wine in our checked luggage. Due to TSA rules, we always put it in our checked and didn't know about any rules against it on the ship. No one ever said anything.
Maybe we were just lucky or because the saw the airline tags assumed it was ok and didn't check it.

no, the dcl website says same thing - if they find it in your luggage, they'll take it out and give it to you when you get off. you have to carry it on and schlep it (fully for 10 years my minivan had a license plate that said 4SCHLEPN - now my mercury milan has it) till you get to your room. i just didnt know how much you could bring. i have the advantage of my kid being on board so onece on board if rooms not ready she can take it. i'd check it for the plane but i'm having it shipped to beach club from a website. fla is one place you can have it shipped.
thanks!

WEDDING over it was wonderful; even the rain didn't dampen our joy. So blessed to have a daughter now.
Did loads and loadsyesterday and stayed home watching the rain. Online shopping has been a big help plus DH who retired Just last week. He's running all the little errands!!!
Four days left of work till Christmas. The honeymooners will be back and I should have four boys + one daughter under one roof for one dayFor me, relationships, the people you love and invest time in are the blessings of life.
Chippermerlin--felt that one bang last night. Made the dogs become unglued. Aftershocks--no like
Have a great day everyone
There is nothing like a loving family! Be sure to bring pictures!
I went to see Narnia today and enjoyed it very much. Tomorrow is cooking and wrapping day for sure.
My neighbor called to say the movers picked up my kitchen table & chairs today. I am so excited! Liz knows they are coming, but I did not tell her they have been picked up. I hope they get here before we leave!
I hope the rain stops soon in California. My friends from Irvine sent me an email today and they are quite tired of it. They have made lots of plans for us upon our arrival so hoping for nice weather.
Sherri, hope your dd is doing better. You have both been on my mind.
Can't wait to meet everyone!
Allan - Tron on Wednesday!!![]()
Today I got a notice from the company that I ordered the Mexican shirt for my husband from that it is on back order until mid Jan!!!!!!!! I told them to cancel it.I need it before then. Does anyone have any suggestion where I can get one for about $20.

Tahara & Crew
thats cool
I think one problem is now they are so backlogged, but i hope your friend gets away on time or close to. It really has been ridiculous that the biggest airport just hasn't coped, however we don't normally get this kind of weather, so investing in equipment etc to cope with it just hasn't been on the radar!!! It might be now of course.
Thank you.
How much baggage allowance do you have this time?
.
Still cloudy and rainy up here, too. Alan, wish your folks a Happy Anniversary. Sorry we won't get to meet your mom. Glad you liked TRON - our kidlet liked it and DH is planning on seeing it on the cruise.
Today's excitement: at 9:28 am, we heard a BIG bang and the house had one sharp jolt.Turns out that there was a magnitude 3.1 quake just 1.39 miles from our house. Wow! We've never been that close to an epicenter before. Didn't even know there was a fault at that location. Fortunately, no one seems to be hurt, and nothing fell off the shelves at nearby stores. If you were in a car, you didn't feel it - as Goofprincess reported. (For those of you familiar with our area, the epicenter was right behind Rancho Shopping Center in Los Altos.) I am happy to have small earthquakes, rather than one like the Loma Prieta quake of 1989, which caused part of the Bay Bridge to collapse, etc.
Des, hope you were able to find homes for the puppies. I'd love to have another dog, but until I stay home for any length of time, it's not feasible.
Goofprincess's son's wedding was wonderful. We had such a good time. I'll let the "mother of the groom" fill everyone in on the details.![]()
I wouldnt hold out much hope, but fingers crossed.Just checked the latest info on Heathrow - 10 hours ago posting - says no flights until tomorrow. We're worried about our friend who is supposed to leave London Tuesday morning. She has a lay-over here at SFO - on her way to New Zealand - so I am planning (hoping) to get to spend Wednesday with her. However, from what I'm reading, it's doubtful she will get out. Sigh. Poor thing - she really needs this vacation.
I hope all the UK members of the cruise stay safe and warm!![]()

Our neighbor just found out they won an award that's presented to them in Atlanta so they're going to WDW for a few nights afterwards. I was able to get them a studio at SSR for the end of January.![]()
