Greetings everyone!
I'm so sorry to hear that so many of you have a cold! I hope you all feel better soon.
Missy... I just changed our Palo's res to the night we're in Cabo. It's your mom's bd night 1? We should celebrate B-I-G!!
Technically her B-day is Jan 4th, but Cid and I decided it would be nice to have a little celebration on the ship. You know how much she LOVES it when people make a fuss over her

(for the rest of you who don't know my mom, she absolutely HATES being the center of attention...but, as far as I'm concerned, everyone should have at least one special celebration on
DCL)
Looks like the Giants are going to close it out tonight. Congrats to the Giants and their fans
ETA: I'm still a proud Rangers fan. They did a great job this year and look forward to next year!!! Love my Rangers
You should be very proud! They are a great team! Giants got their first World Series win and Rangers got their first AL championship. All-in-all it was great all around!
Still nursing a cold, but watching Cruise Ship Diaries for the umpteenth time to keep me in cruise mode

Day one of the Shakespeare festival went well - 2 days to go .
DES - sorry to hear about the fate of your sweets

I hope the company comes to the party for you.
Nicole - I love your shirt ! It looks fabulous !
I think I've crossed off everything now in terms of booking except for our arrival day in LA - still trying to work out the logistics of occupying the day with luggage in tow....
Short and sweet tonight. I'm about to take a Disprin for the sinus pain, then I'm heading to bed.
Have a great day/night.
Cheers,
Sally
Sally, have you considered going to the Grove?? It is only about 10 miles from LAX and it has some great stores. Most significant is the American Girl Place. There are only about 5 in the US and you can easily spend a good portion of the day there. There is a live stage show, a restaurant, and of course dolls and doll clothes everywhere! They even have a saloon for the dolls to receive up-dos! If I remember correctly, you have all girls and they would get a kick out of that place! My mom, sis and I took my DD there a few years ago for her B-day and she LOVED it! We were there for a LONG time! It is also right around the corner from one of the TV studios so you might even get to go to a TV viewing...
Des-sorry about the candies and I hope it gets resolved for you quickly and to your satisfaction. You are so thoughtful to do such a unique gift, and it really is the thought that counts!
Nicole-The shirts look great. I'm glad you were able to get what you wanted.
Sherri-you asked a question that no one answered and now I can't remember what it was...Ahhhh! Sorry!
Corrina-the dress is BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait to see it in person
Tammy-Are you still thinking of doing the scrapbook exchange? I remember you mentioning two options and I don't think I ever replied. To be honest, both ideas sound great (cut in advance and make on ship or cut and do layout to give on ship). I guess if we want to sit and talk we could all bring double stick tape and do the option where we just cut the pieces, but again, I like both ideas. On our last cruise (Oct. 2009) there was an opportunity to scrapbook. And, while there wasn't much actual scrapbooking going on, we did receive two very cool pages...the first and last page of the scrapbook. I was thrilled as they were pages I could never buy at the store
Have a great day All!
