I logged in and kept refreshing for 5 mins till it came up to book, no brunch at 2 mins past by the time it loaded, I am very, very disapointed.
I booked dinner panama canal night but will poss cancel it, I could have booked dinner for my 40th but it seems a bit rude to leave mum and dad that night, last time I found pala a bit pretentious ,thats why I didnt want to go to dinner and would have liked to try brunch.
Sounded like a very frustrating time for some of you, thats what it was like for me the last time.Very frustrating:headache:
I booked 2 snorkling trips though as I loved it last cruise.

Hurray for the snorkelling. Sorry to hear that you missed out on brunch as well. I've been kicked off again! I give up.

:goodvibes - booked Palo for dinner this AM (5 ish) for 1/14 for 4 people @ 7PM - tried for brunch - nothing, but happy to get the dinner!!

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Hope everyone was able to get the ressies you wanted. If not, try again later or even on the ship. You'd be surprised how often that works out!

48 degrees here in upstate NY this morning, but at least the sun is shining. I'm going out to Schoharie today to get my apples and pumpkins.

Hope your day is a good one!

Good morning everyone, you were busy last night. For those of you who didn't get what you wanted at Palo, try on baord!
I would love to do the champagne girls. I would vote to do a more formal shindig!

Good luck to everyone booking excursions and Palo tonight. I hope you get everything you want and it goes very quickly for you!:thumbsup2

I just suddenly developed a horrible headache and am taking my migraine medicine and off to bed.

We are leaving at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon for Morgantown for football game so I don't want to feel like I do now, that is for sure!:headache:

Disney Dreams everyone!:cloud9:

My dd just called and her loan for the new house is approved and locked in at 4.375%. I am so excited and can hardly wait to go down there but I will let them get moved in before I invade! Closing is November 16.:cool2:

I hope you are feeling much better this morning and all ready to go and watch that football game. And how sweet for your DD and her family too.

Boy time sure goes slow when ur watching the clock to book excursions :rolleyes1

A watched pot never boils. And that 20 minute lock out is much longer than 20 minutes - I had that when I booked earlier.

I think we do have an obligation to increase the Champagne Girls club membership :-)

On our cruise, we had the formal tasting session with some interesting information and it cost max $10 per person. One fun bit was that the Sommelier opened a couple of bottles using the sabrage technique.

I guess the question is, do we want to do something like that, or something more casual.

Thoughts ladies.

-Kay

I would love to attend - not a champagne drinker but the company would be grand for sure.

I hope you all got most of what you wanted last night. If you didn't - keep watching the website as sometimes people cancel and things open up. And if you still don't have what you want, check once you board. There are enough sea days that there should be available brunch spots for everyone that wants them.

Well, yippee for Friday! I am so ready for the weekend - and maybe sleeping in tomorrow morning til like 7:00! Enjoy!!

We couldn't get the brunch, either. I think they only have X amount and the majority might be onboard

I agree, they for some reason leave many if not most slots available to book onboard, which IMO is dumb and frustrating. Its like penalizing the people that actually plan ahead and want things taken care of without wasting vacation time to take care of ressies. Oh well, plenty of time to keep checking, and if not I know what my mistake was last time- Last year when I left my comfy spot by the pool to go down and change my Palo ressie and waited in that ridiculous line, I only brought half of a drink of the day down with me to ease the annoyance. This year I'll be sure to bring a full drink with me :rotfl2:

Woohoo! I was able to get in, but no whale watching spots are available! Boo! LOL

Well, guess I need to find another thing to do.

Come join us in Cabo, it's all DIS family!

:dance3::woohoo::woohoo:

I guess I was lucky last night after reading others comments. I was able to get what we wanted and was in bed by 12:20!
We booked the submarine in Aruba, Highlights of CR and city tours in PV and Manzanillo..Anyone else joining us?

Well it looks like we got most of what we wanted last night. Thanks for everyones help. We have dinner at Palo but couldn't get brunch or high tea.
:dance3:

Hi Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on vaccinations for the trip. Does anyone get the hepatitis shots? I know they reccomend them if you are staying at a resort in one of these countries but how about with cruises??

Cabo Whale Watching!!

UPDATE UPDATE!!

Since this has been so popular and there a few more parties that want to join in the fun, I am pleased to announce we are moving on up! I have just confirmed with Melanie @ PezGato we will set sail on the PezGato III !! This now allows for 5 (count on the website also) more people to join and new sailing total will be 55. I'm sure we can probably get to this total, as more WONDERful cruisers decide to journey through the canal.

Good morning everyone! We got back from San Francisco on Wednesday night and I've got a lot of catching up to do!

We had a great time on our trip! The weather was really cool the first few days but it warmed up on Monday and Tuesday. Still chilly, but it was nice. The Disney Family Museum was wonderful! We spent around 5 hours there (with about 30 min break) and still feel like we rushed through the last few galleries.

Now, I can concentrate on this trip! Can't believe we are under the 3 month mark!!!

Hi everyone. We'll also be joining all of you on this cruise. I've been lurking on the forum for a while, but thought I'd officially say hi.

We're silver members, so we just booked excursions and Palo dinner this morning. Got most of what we wanted, except for no brunch. I'll just keep checking.

We're also joining the whale watching group in Cabo.

We're both really excited to be doing this cruise, our longest has been 7 days, so I'm looking for to all the relaxing sea days.

Now I'm off to PM folks with our details. :goodvibes

Hey Jen! Thought you might be able to tell me what days High Tea is offered and when we get onboard where do we go to beg for Palo reservations?

ALSO I think a champagne girls event sounds like fun!

Good Morning

We are booked on the Panama Canal cruise and have booked the Cabo Whale Watch that Tinkerbel129 has organized.

We were in Aruba in Fall, 2008. I got up at 5:30 am to be certain that I would see the Wonder arrive. We are thrilled to be on this trip. We will be visiting Disneyland for the first time at the end of the trip. I have gotten so much info from the boards.

My husband (61) and I (59) are in a GTY 5A at this point booked on DVC points. I am not sure how to contact Jeff and Tinkerbel129 since I do not have enough postings to send pm or email.

We are excited to join this very active group.

Barbara & Larry
