What a special message for her. That will be something she will always cherish.
One of her favorite people wanted to wish her well. Dawn is a long-time Alice fan.
That video you posted of Alice and White Rabbit for Dawn is very sweet! Brooklyn and Bella are just too cute, love the pics! Wow I think Brooklyn has been to Disney more than me .
Brooklynn is in the teens on her trips, I'm pretty sure. She knows the place pretty well now.
Oh...If you got a pic of our room window...please post it...I forgot to take one!
Thanks! We had a good time! Hope ya'll did too!
I have only loaded the first card. I'll look through the other three, but I think I did take one picture.
Yay! all caught up so far and itching for more!
I am hoping to get in another workshop today, and then I have to carry a load of food to camp, but maybe tonight I can put some more pictures up.
I love the eighties collage!! I grew up with all of the stuff too. Although Belle became my favorite later on, my first true love/obsession was Ariel!! Just the other day we were watching old tapes from my first trip to WDW, where you can hear my mom tell my dad "Where is the M-E-R-M-A-I-D?" knowing full well I would have gotten upset! So funny to look back then at the differences to now!
Yep, that stuff was very familiar. They should sell those posters!
I have spelled many things in my life around my kids, too. We spell around Brooklynn, but the day will come when spelling just doesn't work any more. Then we are in big trouble. We'll have to pass notes secretly.
Great news about the workshop, I hope they can fit in in tomorrow.
They are having about six sessions a day all week We told the people at the front desk of the center about our predicament yesterday, and they told us to come in today and they thought they could get us in something. We don't really care what we go to, as long as we get our swap days over with. If worse comes to worse, I'll just have to get coverage for camp on Tuesday and go then. We're going out there this morning on good faith that they can get us in and it will be over with.
July 31st is a Saturday. We are either going to visit family in McMinnville the 24th or 31st, but it is looking more like the 24th. If we can make the 31st happen, I will be there if our family cookout is the 24th. I like the idea of somewhere near Opry Mills or if you want to drive further, there is that Splash Pad about 5 miles off I-24 in Smyrna that is free (gotta love that). There are lots of shaded picnic tables and restrooms, I believe. The kids can stay nice and cool, while us adults sweat it out. But, we are up for anything.
If it was just our bunch coming, I'd say that sounds good, but since
tinkgurl's family will be traveling, we'll just find a spot close to where they are staying. I'll talk to her closer to time and see if they are going to eat at Cracker Barrel or wherever out close to Opry Mills, and then I'll let you know. We'd love to see you girls again, and especially your newest one!
All caught up! I love the shopping pics. I really need to drive over to POP! one time while we're at Disney, and check out their gift shop.
And, that little belly on Bella? It's a cute little thing! Those little bellies aren't so cute though, when you're 42!
I tell Bella her belly is bigger than mine. I think she knows it isn't true, because she laughs at me when I say it.
What a sweet video! I'm sure it must of made her day.
Bella is too cute in the kiddie pool. Feels like yesterday she was sitting there 3 months old watching her sister play.
She's moving around on her own now, and she loves to walk around the circle of that pool right at the edge. Sometimes she'll dart toward the exit and we have to chase her down and redirect her. She thinks it's funny and speeds up when she sees us get up!
Hi MeMom. I don't post often at all on the Disboards, but I love reading your trip reports. My family stayed at Pop the first time last April and fell in love with it. We were in the Mickey phone building. Your pictures take me right back to the memories!
On a totally different note, I am in no way a medical professional, but I think the problem you have with your feet could be Plantar Faciitis. My mother, grandmother, great aunt, and sister (all of varying ages and weights) have all dealt with this issue at different times over the past few years. In fact, my mom had it on our trip to Disney and could hardly stand up in the mornings. One thing that they do for it is a cortisone shot into your heel. I think it is fairly painful, but does give some relief. Some regular physicians can diagnose and do this, but a podiatrist may be a better bet. Just thought this information might help you out. I look forward to hearing about the rest of your trip adventures!
I have been doing some reading on it. A friend of mine said her husband had the same thing and it took forever to heal. A cortisone shot sounds like a good thing to do before a trip.

I bet it
is painful!

If you could see me in the mornings when I first stand up, you'd either laugh or cringe. It is so painful, but it's funny as I hold on to furniture in order not to put pressure on my foot. I'm a sight, for sure!
I'm glad you are enjoying the pictures. We enjoy going back to Disney World through the pictures, too - looking back on good times and looking forward to good times yet to come.
I love those little baby bellies! Bella and Brooklyn are definately some the cutest waterbabies around!
They are among some of the best, I would say.
It's a good thing you checked your email before you left for the workshop or you would've missed out on valuable DIS time. Too bad that now it interferes with your camp week.
Everytime I see Mickey waffles, I want waffles or pancakes of some sort. Now that I'm at my Dad's waffles or pancake batter just don't last. Either my bf needs to come here and make me some homemade waffles/pancakes or I need to head to Everything Pop and grab some Mickey waffles.
Yes, those icons are HUGE. I love them! I always wanted to climb on the Big Wheel but that wouldn't have been good for a cast member to do. LoL
I love Bella's belly!
I saw Dawn post the video on FB. That is the sweetest thing.
I think you should go over to any of the resorts occasionally and have a Disney breakfast. If you have the ability to do that, enjoy it, and take pictures to share with us!
I am hoping to get the workshop issue solved today and be able to concentrate only on camp next week. We'll know in a few hours.
Have a fabulous Friday, everyone!
