yum, Pop's pizza is perfect for a quick meal.

What a cute pin of Mickey & Minnie eating the kitchen sink! :cutie: Beaches & Cream was too crowded last time we checked it out...oh well, next trip!!

Remember my text about the tumble monkey? Here he is.

IMG_6999.jpg

I must have 15 shots and about 10 came out so you can actually see him. :rotfl2:

Judging by my pictures you would have though the show was the Tumble Monkey Show.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

how long am I going to be stuck at the dock? We need to leave for Canada tonight! LOL! Seriously we will be gone this week...so hope you all have a great week!

We've never ordered Disney pizza before. Is it pretty good? It looks like it is! :) Those pins are sure cute. I don't think I could ever decide so it's probably a good idea I don't collect them. ;) LOL!

I wouldn't want every staring at me as I drove the ECV

off
of
the
ramp!

Exactly my concern as well! :rotfl:

Your morning looked very nice and relaxed. Gotta love pool time and just taking it slow and easy.

I hope we get the nice boat driver with the handlebar mustache. :goodvibes

To the bus stop.

And you guys walked right by our room!

I am so glad you have been taking pics of all these different pins. I have never really taken the time to look at them, so it's great to see all the ones that there are. There are some really cute ones!

I have bad luck waiting for Disney boats. We had to wait a long time for a boat when we were going from Epcot to the Beach Club. Of course, one had JUST left when we got there  And then one night going from MK back to the Wilderness Lodge we waited for about a half hour for a boat. I was so tired I was almost falling alseep sitting on the ground :rotfl:

Right now, Jeremy, Leslie, and Caleb are on the way down from Maine :) We'll see them tomorrow. I'm so excited! I haven't seen them in 3 months! I can't wait to see how big Caleb is now. He'll probably being towering over Kazin  Kazin's tiny. He gets it from Josh. He's about the same height as me, maybe a little taller, and I'm only 5'4". Tomorrow we're having our annual pool party with the extended family. I thought they were only staying for a few days, but they'll be here for a week :goodvibes I think we'll probably have a cookout at some point for just our branch of the family :)

Hope you get to try out that kitchen sink in the future :)
We're hoping to take my parents with us in the future so I'm hoping 4 adults and 2 little girls could make a dent in it!

I love that Kitchen Sink pin.....I am more apt to buy the pin than the actual Kitchen Sink!! After all of my crowns and caps ice cream is no longer my friend :sad2: (well in very small amounts....;))
Your Mickey with the days activities is such a great idea!! I love that! :thumbsup2

Hollie has a special message for Brooklyn! We received a sweet package in the mail today!! Jill you are too, too sweet!! Thank you so much!!!

Oh, and please disregard Hollie's little neck injury. She got in a fight with her bunk bed the other night. She would climb over the side and just drop down to the bottom bed. But, she has learned her lesson now!

We really liked it. It is $13 for a large cheese and with my TIW card it is $11. That is cheaper than 1 adult and 1 child each getting a meal and fed all of plus some left over. It really was a great deal and we got the large several times this trip.

I'm so glad you got it. Was everything still in one piece? Could you find it under all the bubble wrap?

It sure was!! That was the best wrapping I have ever seen in bubble wrap!! When I saw the disney bag, I handed it to Hollie and read what was on the box. I wish I had taken a picture of her face!! She said, "Brooklyn sent me a present!! Oh my gosh!!!! She is so sweet and I love her!!" lol!

I'm loving all the pics. You guys are so nice, you thing about everyone pixiedust:pixiedust: I'm so glad I found your trip report !!

That looks like JUST how I want to spend my morning at Pop. A little pool time, a little shopping and a large pizza for our family to share! Then maybe a trip to DTD.

MeMom the trip is off to such a great start and I have had NO time to comment! The week before a trip is always a busy one

I know you are very busy getting ready for your own trip. I hope you guys have an incredible time. Can't wait for you and tinkgurl to finally get to talk in person!

Oh, I like the Kitchen Sink pin!!! I am really hoping to get over to Beaches and Cream during the trip!

Mickey is so cute with his daily itinerary!

I'll just be sitting here on the dock waiting on the boat and hoping Chelsea or Connor don't end up in the water since they are rough-housing (as usual).

If you can't handle a kitchen sink, I highly recommend a No Way Jose.

I love the kitchen sink pin. I'll have to look for that one next month.

I hope they still have it when we get around to getting one!

I agree that you probably have plantar fasciitis vs a bone spur on your heel. Usually if your pain is the worst after sitting or first thin in the morning, it is plantar fasciitis. I will tell you what I treat my patients with the first time it occurs. There is a three step approach. You need to take aleve or ibuprofen daily for around two weeks (1-2 aleeve or 600mg of ibuprofen 3x/daily), get a water bottle and freeze it. roll your foot on it for around 5-10minutes twice daily. This will help with inflammation and stretch the fascia out. last step is to get very good inserts in your shoes to help prevent further inflammation. If this does not work, physical therapy sometimes does wonders or as I suggested earlier, going to a podiatrist. I had horrible plantar fasciitis when I did my ICU rotation in residency so I feel your pain. So, there is my free medical consultation for the morning.:rotfl2:

Thanks for the free visit. And I didn't even have a long wait in the waiting room. :)
I will try everything you advise. Next week, with being on my feet all week in the kitchen at camp, I might not have to much success on getting relief.

I have plantar fascitis and got the cortisone shot. It was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be, and it provided a TON of relief. I take advil/aleve and do the exercises mentioned above. I have also switched to flip flops that have a high arch support or wear good tennis shoes. I hope that you are able to find something to provides relief for you.

A cortisone shot beforethis past long trip might have been a good thing.

I am going to take the good doctor's advice. :thumbsup2

Nice update

The pizza looks very yummy about now & the box is adorable !

Love all the close-ups of the pins , glad to see you were able to purchase a few .

Sorry to hear that the boat ride to you dismeet was not very good and that it was now starting to pour

Can't wait to see the pictures from your dismeet

I am worn out tonight. After the all day workshop, I went to camp and helped them close out the high school session. Then I drove home in a thunderstorm. I think I am ready to call it a night and maybe put up pictures in the morning.

I felt bad, because I knew our DIS friends were waiting for us, and we couldn't get to them. I felt like we were being rude, but it was all out of our control.

it does!

sorry about your frustrating trip to OKW. hope the dis meet was fun!

It was. We stood inside the OKW lobby, since it was pouring rain outside. Brooklynn ended up getting to do a craft with a CM because we were in there. :cutie:

Another photo of Wuzzles!!!

Love all the pin pictures, I can't get enough of the pins. Pretty soon I'm going to need a second corkboard for my collection.

I like the pins more and more the more I look at them. :goodvibes

I am a little late to the party but am all got up now, Thanks for sharing! The POP Century looks like a fun resort :goodvibes

Is anybody else humming "sittin on the dock of the bayyyyyyyyy" or is it just me?!

Love the pin pictures...will have to look for some of those when we're there.

If you are sweating profusely while sitting on that dock, then you are replaying our scene quite well. Another family that was in fron of us had the two tiny little splotches of shade that existed, and the other fifty people were in the burning sun.

Another great update. Love all the pins. So far I've resisted the urge to start collecting the pins. Don't know how long that will last though, especially after seeing all your pictures of them. Loved the Kitchen Sink one. I've got to try one of those sometime too. Even as many times as I've been there are still so many things I haven't done! Just gives me many reasons to keep going back!

Looking forward to getting on the boat with you and seeing what happens next.

I didn't look at pins for a long time, but then I decided they were a relatively inexpensive way to honor a special resort, event, etc. They take up no room in the suitcase and don't add weight. They are happy little reminders of good times.

The picture of the dog cloud kind of reminds me of Pluto (with his ears in the wind) chasing a bone. It would seem Disney and God were in together on the cloud formations!

I love all of the pin pictures. I have been debating starting a pin collection and these pictures are making me think more and more that I do. I think my son would really enjoy that as well.

Looking forward to the next update. I'll be here, on the dock, waiting.

I think you really would enjoy the pins. Brooklynn thought it was very cool to trade for the first time on this trip. You need to have some that are special and some that can be traded.

I concur with the diagnosis. I got inserts, just the store kind and it works wonders. I also get sneakers with a good arch support too. I usually get new ones pretty often, I don't pay a whole lot for them and wear them all the time. All of that helps my feet and my knees. That and stretching my feet also help.

Next week will be rough, so the next week I will try to be faithful with the exercises.

Oh yes - I am a bit foggy these days and didn't realize Tinkgurl would be traveling through with family. We will come to where ever is most convenient.

I'll let you know when she comes back through. You will love her family. They are very sweet. :goodvibes

Waiting for 45 minutes in the heat would have put me in a very un-Disney mood. I hoped you all handled it better than I would have.

Your pizza looked yummy!

Thanks for the pin pictures. I LOVE pins!

We were fine. It was Day One, so even John held up pretty well. ;)

Brooklynn so enjoyed the pin trading. Thank you for sharing your pins with her!

We spent too much time in the water for the ice cream, boo! I don't think the little girls minded one little bit...

Yeah, you were all having such fun in the water. I was over at the side begging for ice cream, and you all ignored me. :rolleyes1
