BrooklynnsMommy - just found your TR...caught up now!

I had a little green note on my door at POP from MeMom..actually it had fallen to the ground before we left that morning...I am so sorry that I wasnt able to make it up to your rooms to say "hi"!

Hope ya'll had a great time! We did! Pop was great!

I want all those new bags! LOVE the rest of the shopping pics too!

Awww, I can picture Bella coming into your room for a morning snuggle ... so cute!

Will we get to see what animals Brooklynn came home with? I'm sure we will be able to spot them in the park pics. ;)

I think you should at least try an ECV, who knows you may really find it a lifesaver. :goodvibes

Super Sweet message for Punkin. It's a very cool and thoughtful thing to do for her! :thumbsup2

I havn't had much time to DIS the last couple days, I've been going in early working all day and then having to go back in at close. (Were having painting done at night.)
I'll be doing it again tonight.....:upsidedow

I'm so ready for my vacation ... where I can leave work behind me and just have fun! :)

Yum! The Mickey Waffles look very good right now! I have never been to POP. One of these days I will go exploring over there!!

You should go check it out. :thumbsup2

I think Brooklynn had Mickey waffles many times during this trip. :)

So true! I loved when my babies/toddlers would lay on me; such a close/loving feeling!

Soft baby skin all snuggled up on a person can make for a good start to the day.

OH MY GOSH!!!! That is the sweetest!!!!!! Dawn is gonna love that!!

Wish it could have been longer, but there was a line. I didn't want to take anything away from the little kids who were waiting.

HmMmM Lets just say I dont bake very often But I am sure we could all enjoy some nice store bought cakes

Store bought? :scared1:

Well, Mrs. Edwards does make a mean pecan pie, and Sara Lee might have a few good things, too. ;)

Awwwww, how sweet is this?

MeMom and Jill, you girls think of it all!!!

Shucks...we just try to bring Disney happiness back to everyone.

How were your pool parties this week?

Aww I saw Dawn post this on facebook. So sweet of you guys to do that for her!

We were happy to do it. :goodvibes

That's a VERY good point about the shirts. I think I'll have to talk to Joe. I noticed they do have them on Disneyshopping.com too. I'll try to keep an eye out for the bowl for ya, I think I know which one you are talking about.

I'm with ya on the ECV. If I were ever in one, I would probably make Joe do it. It would make me too nervous getting on and off the bus!

That is very cool!

I wouldn't want every staring at me as I drove the ECV

off
of
the
ramp!

That breakfast pizza looked so good! I'm sitting here reading your update and when I saw your pics my stomach reminded me that I haven't had breakfast yet

Love Bella's little baby belly sticking out, so cute!

She does have a sweet little belly. :lovestruc

I hope you got a good breakfast.

Awww...what a great surprise for Dawn!

It's been a long wait for her, so we thought she would enjoy that.

What a great surprise!! Just checking in this morning. I forgot to tell you that I thought Bella was adorable in her bathing suit! Have a great day!

I made it through my workshop. They told us they could fit us in tomorrow instead of next week, so we are going to go out there and give it a try.

My kids would LOVE this!! So great!

Glad to have you with us!

You have dessert, right? :)

Caught up! Phew.

So sweet the message for Dawn.

Glad we didn't leave you behind!

you have no idea how how much this made my day! i sent it to ray and he even uploaded it to the blog he's creating for us. sooooo cool! thank you guys so much....

Looking forward to the day you and Ray and Seth can have your picture made with Alice. :thumbsup2

What a great picture!!!

click on the picture...it's a video!

Yep, TCKK, it is a video!

AWWWWWWWWWW! That is the sweetest thing ever!

It was nice for her to do that for us.

How sweet is that!

They were kind to do that. :goodvibes

I just found your trip report and count me in!

My next trip will be with my son (likely around his 2nd birthday) so I need to start reading more trip reports with little ones, so I know what to do! I have never traveled with a child before. I may have to go back and read some of your older trip reports!

We hope you will enjoy the many good DIS friends around here. We hope your trip will be an awesome one! You will see a lot of changes between the first trip and now. Happy reading!

What a great thing for you guys to do for Dawn. Bella looks so cute in her bathing suite.

I think each of the girls had three bathing suits with them. They looked so sweet walking to the kiddie pool in anticipation of the fun they would have.

The video for Dawn is precious. I thought it was just a picture until someone said to click on it.

What a sweet thing to do for Dawn! :goodvibes

I just clicked on the pic as well..

SUCH a cute message for Dawn and Ray!

Sweet!! I just thought it was a picture too!

What a sweet video for Dawn!!!

You truly are very very thoughtful and kind! :)

I hadn't realized that was a video either, VERY cute!!!!

That was so sweet!

Well I would vote for McDonough because that's where I live! I do have to admit there's not a lot to do here though. I haven't read all the posts since you posted this, so someone else may have answered. The nearest mall is about 20 minutes north of us off I-75 in Morrow, but there are no Disney Stores anywhere around here. All the DS's in the Atlanta area are on the north side of town. That doesn't make me happy either! I don't think there are any more left in GA, except for those on the north side of town, but I could be wrong.

Stone Mountain is fun for a family, but even that is about 45 minutes from here. We do have some relatively inexpensive hotels/motels here in McDonough though. Most are right off of I-75. There's a Holiday Inn Express, a new Hilton Garden Inn, a Hamton Inn and a Best Western.

By the way, I love the pictures of the purses and tote bags! I know I want to buy one in Sept but I still don't know which one. Every time I see a picture of a new one I decide that's the one I want.

Awwww what a sweet message for Dawn!!!!!!!

Dawn, everybody likes your Wonderland friends! :dance3:

martinolichfamily - I think I took a picture of your window. Hope you guys had a great time!

teedee - I think we have decided it will be simpler for him to just come up here. We will let you know when there is an Atlanta DIS meet. ::yes::

So kind of you to do so many special things for other people :goodvibes What a special message for her. That will be something she will always cherish. :cloud9:

That video you posted of Alice and White Rabbit for Dawn is very sweet! Brooklyn and Bella are just too cute, love the pics! Wow I think Brooklyn has been to Disney more than me .

Oh...If you got a pic of our room window...please post it...I forgot to take one! :(

Thanks! We had a good time! Hope ya'll did too! :)

I love the eighties collage!! I grew up with all of the stuff too. Although Belle became my favorite later on, my first true love/obsession was Ariel!! Just the other day we were watching old tapes from my first trip to WDW, where you can hear my mom tell my dad "Where is the M-E-R-M-A-I-D?" knowing full well I would have gotten upset! So funny to look back then at the differences to now!

I'm all caught up again. I love the video for Dawn. You all are always so thoughtful and give back to your DIS friends so much. I hope you know how much we all appreciate you guys:goodvibes

July 31st is a Saturday. We are either going to visit family in McMinnville the 24th or 31st, but it is looking more like the 24th. If we can make the 31st happen, I will be there if our family cookout is the 24th. I like the idea of somewhere near Opry Mills or if you want to drive further, there is that Splash Pad about 5 miles off I-24 in Smyrna that is free (gotta love that). There are lots of shaded picnic tables and restrooms, I believe. The kids can stay nice and cool, while us adults sweat it out:). But, we are up for anything.

All caught up! I love the shopping pics. I really need to drive over to POP! one time while we're at Disney, and check out their gift shop.

And, that little belly on Bella? It's a cute little thing! Those little bellies aren't so cute though, when you're 42!

What a sweet video! I'm sure it must of made her day.:goodvibes
Bella is too cute in the kiddie pool. Feels like yesterday she was sitting there 3 months old watching her sister play.

Hi MeMom. I don't post often at all on the Disboards, but I love reading your trip reports. My family stayed at Pop the first time last April and fell in love with it. We were in the Mickey phone building. Your pictures take me right back to the memories!

On a totally different note, I am in no way a medical professional, but I think the problem you have with your feet could be Plantar Faciitis. My mother, grandmother, great aunt, and sister (all of varying ages and weights) have all dealt with this issue at different times over the past few years. In fact, my mom had it on our trip to Disney and could hardly stand up in the mornings. One thing that they do for it is a cortisone shot into your heel. I think it is fairly painful, but does give some relief. Some regular physicians can diagnose and do this, but a podiatrist may be a better bet. Just thought this information might help you out. I look forward to hearing about the rest of your trip adventures!

I love those little baby bellies! Bella and Brooklyn are definately some the cutest waterbabies around! :)

It's a good thing you checked your email before you left for the workshop or you would've missed out on valuable DIS time. Too bad that now it interferes with your camp week.

Everytime I see Mickey waffles, I want waffles or pancakes of some sort. Now that I'm at my Dad's waffles or pancake batter just don't last. Either my bf needs to come here and make me some homemade waffles/pancakes or I need to head to Everything Pop and grab some Mickey waffles.

Yes, those icons are HUGE. I love them! I always wanted to climb on the Big Wheel but that wouldn't have been good for a cast member to do. LoL

I love Bella's belly!

I saw Dawn post the video on FB. That is the sweetest thing.

What a special message for her. That will be something she will always cherish.

One of her favorite people wanted to wish her well. Dawn is a long-time Alice fan. :)

That video you posted of Alice and White Rabbit for Dawn is very sweet! Brooklyn and Bella are just too cute, love the pics! Wow I think Brooklyn has been to Disney more than me .

Brooklynn is in the teens on her trips, I'm pretty sure. She knows the place pretty well now.

Oh...If you got a pic of our room window...please post it...I forgot to take one!

Thanks! We had a good time! Hope ya'll did too!

I have only loaded the first card. I'll look through the other three, but I think I did take one picture.

Yay! all caught up so far and itching for more!

I am hoping to get in another workshop today, and then I have to carry a load of food to camp, but maybe tonight I can put some more pictures up.

Yep, that stuff was very familiar. They should sell those posters!

I have spelled many things in my life around my kids, too. We spell around Brooklynn, but the day will come when spelling just doesn't work any more. Then we are in big trouble. We'll have to pass notes secretly.

Great news about the workshop, I hope they can fit in in tomorrow.

They are having about six sessions a day all week We told the people at the front desk of the center about our predicament yesterday, and they told us to come in today and they thought they could get us in something. We don't really care what we go to, as long as we get our swap days over with. If worse comes to worse, I'll just have to get coverage for camp on Tuesday and go then. We're going out there this morning on good faith that they can get us in and it will be over with. ;)

If it was just our bunch coming, I'd say that sounds good, but since tinkgurl's family will be traveling, we'll just find a spot close to where they are staying. I'll talk to her closer to time and see if they are going to eat at Cracker Barrel or wherever out close to Opry Mills, and then I'll let you know. We'd love to see you girls again, and especially your newest one! :cutie:

All caught up! I love the shopping pics. I really need to drive over to POP! one time while we're at Disney, and check out their gift shop.

And, that little belly on Bella? It's a cute little thing! Those little bellies aren't so cute though, when you're 42!

I tell Bella her belly is bigger than mine. I think she knows it isn't true, because she laughs at me when I say it. ;)

What a sweet video! I'm sure it must of made her day.
Bella is too cute in the kiddie pool. Feels like yesterday she was sitting there 3 months old watching her sister play.

She's moving around on her own now, and she loves to walk around the circle of that pool right at the edge. Sometimes she'll dart toward the exit and we have to chase her down and redirect her. She thinks it's funny and speeds up when she sees us get up!

I have been doing some reading on it. A friend of mine said her husband had the same thing and it took forever to heal. A cortisone shot sounds like a good thing to do before a trip. I bet it is painful! If you could see me in the mornings when I first stand up, you'd either laugh or cringe. It is so painful, but it's funny as I hold on to furniture in order not to put pressure on my foot. I'm a sight, for sure!

I'm glad you are enjoying the pictures. We enjoy going back to Disney World through the pictures, too - looking back on good times and looking forward to good times yet to come. :)

I love those little baby bellies! Bella and Brooklyn are definately some the cutest waterbabies around!

They are among some of the best, I would say. :lovestruc

I think you should go over to any of the resorts occasionally and have a Disney breakfast. If you have the ability to do that, enjoy it, and take pictures to share with us!

I am hoping to get the workshop issue solved today and be able to concentrate only on camp next week. We'll know in a few hours.

Have a fabulous Friday, everyone!

I think I do have time for a few pictures before I move on with the morning. Nothing exciting, but Disney World, nonetheless.

After a morning at the pool,

Summer2010PoptotheTop080.jpg

it was decided that we would share a pizza, eat in the room, and then go to Downtown Disney.

David Doss was on-site that day.

We love to look in Pin Traders.

I thought I would be purchasing this pin later in the trip, but we ended up not getting the Kitchen Sink the evening we went over to Beach Club.

I bought this one later in the trip after Brooklynn and I went to see the show. We had seen the show a few times before, but I had not bought the pin.

I will leave you waiting here at the boat dock.

Summer2010PoptotheTop100.jpg

We waited for quite a while ourselves, finally got a boat, had no driver, ended up unloading and piling onto another boat, and were about half an hour late to our first DIS meet. Oh yeah, while we were waiting, it was blazing hot, and about thirty seconds before we got off the boat at Old Key West, raindrops the size of golf balls started pounding down.

Stay right here on the dock like we did.
We'll be back! :)
