MeMom the trip is off to such a great start and I have had NO time to comment! The week before a trip is always a busy one :sad2:

Oh, I like the Kitchen Sink pin!!! I am really hoping to get over to Beaches and Cream during the trip!

Mickey is so cute with his daily itinerary!

I'll just be sitting here on the dock waiting on the boat and hoping Chelsea or Connor don't end up in the water since they are rough-housing (as usual).

I agree that you probably have plantar fasciitis vs a bone spur on your heel. Usually if your pain is the worst after sitting or first thin in the morning, it is plantar fasciitis. I will tell you what I treat my patients with the first time it occurs. There is a three step approach. You need to take aleve or ibuprofen daily for around two weeks (1-2 aleeve or 600mg of ibuprofen 3x/daily), get a water bottle and freeze it. roll your foot on it for around 5-10minutes twice daily. This will help with inflammation and stretch the fascia out. last step is to get very good inserts in your shoes to help prevent further inflammation. If this does not work, physical therapy sometimes does wonders or as I suggested earlier, going to a podiatrist. I had horrible plantar fasciitis when I did my ICU rotation in residency so I feel your pain. So, there is my free medical consultation for the morning.:rotfl2:

I have plantar fascitis and got the cortisone shot. It was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be, and it provided a TON of relief. I take advil/aleve and do the exercises mentioned above. I have also switched to flip flops that have a high arch support or wear good tennis shoes. I hope that you are able to find something to provides relief for you.

Nice update :thumbsup2

The pizza looks very yummy about now & the box is adorable !

Love all the close-ups of the pins , glad to see you were able to purchase a few .

Sorry to hear that the boat ride to you dismeet was not very good and that it was now starting to pour :(

Can't wait to see the pictures from your dismeet popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

sorry about your frustrating trip to OKW. hope the dis meet was fun!

Another photo of Wuzzles!!! :dance3:

Love all the pin pictures, I can't get enough of the pins. Pretty soon I'm going to need a second corkboard for my collection. :rolleyes1

Is anybody else humming "sittin on the dock of the bayyyyyyyyy" or is it just me?!

Love the pin pictures...will have to look for some of those when we're there.

Another great update. Love all the pins. So far I've resisted the urge to start collecting the pins. Don't know how long that will last though, especially after seeing all your pictures of them. Loved the Kitchen Sink one. I've got to try one of those sometime too. Even as many times as I've been there are still so many things I haven't done! Just gives me many reasons to keep going back!

Looking forward to getting on the boat with you and seeing what happens next. ;)

The picture of the dog cloud kind of reminds me of Pluto (with his ears in the wind) chasing a bone. It would seem Disney and God were in together on the cloud formations! :goodvibes :cloud9:

I love all of the pin pictures. I have been debating starting a pin collection and these pictures are making me think more and more that I do. I think my son would really enjoy that as well.

Looking forward to the next update. I'll be here, on the dock, waiting.

I concur with the diagnosis. I got inserts, just the store kind and it works wonders. I also get sneakers with a good arch support too. I usually get new ones pretty often, I don't pay a whole lot for them and wear them all the time. All of that helps my feet and my knees. That and stretching my feet also help.

Oh yes - I am a bit foggy these days and didn't realize Tinkgurl would be traveling through with family. We will come to where ever is most convenient.

Waiting for 45 minutes in the heat would have put me in a very un-Disney mood. I hoped you all handled it better than I would have.

Your pizza looked yummy!

Thanks for the pin pictures. I LOVE pins!

We spent too much time in the water for the ice cream, boo! I don't think the little girls minded one little bit...

Oh my gosh...the top of the pizza box is adorable! :thumbsup2 And...I love the daily notes that Mickey holds up! What a cute idea! :goodvibes You are really getting me excited for my trip......this is kind of "tiding me over!"

Yummm pizza! It's lunchtime here and I'm starving. That box is cute. We've never gotten a whole pizza. Love DTD and shopping. Sorry the wait for the bus was so long in the heat. Did the rain cool you off?

The Pizza looks so yummy! Love the top of the box too!

I think the cloud looks just like a dog too:thumbsup2

I love all the close up pictures of the pins.

Can't wait to read about the DIS meet.

I'm going to second this! I waited about 18 months before I spoke up about it, but it got to the point I had to have shoes on and my feet were killing me after a normal day. I'm currently in PT for this condition which is helping greatly (just ignore today's fb post ;)! But I have noticed the difference when I don't ice my feet. I went to Walmart and did the Dr. Scholls foot test thing and it told me which inserts are best for my feet so you might try that too. Hope you feel better soon!
