Hi all-

Looking for some advice. Dsis and her family are visiting next week. Dmom and Ddad are taking the whole gang to Disney for 2 days, really for my little Dnephews who loved it so much in Oct. Dbil has to leave Monday to fly back to NY. He is flying out of MCO at 4:50pm. We will be at MK on Monday.

Here are my questions.

--Short of Dsis cutting her WDW time short to drive to MCO, what is his best way to get to MCO? Taxi, towncar service, etc?

--Where would he meet his transportation? Would he have to go to the TTC?

--What time should he leave MK to get to MCO with enough time for the security line nightmare?

--Finally, are the lockers at MK big enough to hold luggage? He wants to bring everything to the park and leave from there.

Many thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about the size of the lockers, others will give you an answer.
For going to MCO from the MK the easiest way is from one of the MK resorts. Just hop on the monorail to either the Poly, GF, or Contemporary. It's a short walk from the MK entrance to the Contemporary but with luggage it's probably better to take the monorail.
Taxis are available at all WDW resorts. You can also have a car service waiting at whatever MK resort you choose. There are many good car services. You may want to start with FL Tours which is a DIS sponsor and has an add on the top of this page you can click on. I would allow at least two hours (probably more) to get to the airport and through security.

Thanks, wdwgoof, I will advise him to go to the Contemporary.

I've heard about the lines for security at MCO. How long is he going to need to get through security?

Thanks!

If you're on a budget you could book Mears. They'll probably transport him on a DME bus otherwise a towncar from a monorail resort is the easiest option.

I have to believe that the security lines depend on what time you get to the airport. Although we have been on very long lines at MCO they have a lot of lines opened so we never waitied more than 20 minutes or so. You may want to allow three hours from WDW to MCO. This should allow for more than enough time in case of traffic and security lines.
