While I will freely admit to being scared out of my mind by Everest (riding it once may have been enough for my entire lifetime ;)), I do love the theming all around the attraction -- I just love Disney's attention to detail, and your pictures are just great! I love all the prayer flags! :goodvibes

Thanks. I definately recommend front row for your upcoming trip. You will NOT regret it!

We actually got to do front row 3 times in a row when we were there in September 2007! LOOOOOVED it!!! This time I want to try the very back to experience that.

The only part of the ride that I am not crazy about is the backwards in the dark. I have to admit that I keep my eyes closed during this part or I get kind-of dizzy. But as long I don't do the ride back to back, I am fine!

I think I got a little obsessed with the flags this trip!

Three times in a ROW! FRONT ROW! :worship::worship::worship: WOW! That is awesome. Not just because you were able to ride it that much because of low waits, but because you could tolerate it three times in a row! Multiple rides make me dizzy. If not, I would just keep checking right back on!

I love all your detailed pictures! I have to get over to that area to explore!

OH, you must. Especially with the type of pictures you take. There was so much to look at. Seriously, Denny had to drag me away.

I wanted to get one through the trees with the train flying by on the track, but it was impossible. Now you, on the other hand, might be able to accomplish that!

:laughing: Yeah we were stuck on EE for about a good ten minutes before someone came up the track...3 CM's came up and told us we had to get out and walk down. It was a bit awkward getting out of the train from where we were but it was a neat experience all together! :rotfl: We actually walked forward and then right when stop at the broken track part there is a little door off to the right...we walked down many flights of stairs and then at the bottom they gave us water and a FP.:lmao: Here are a few pictures of our time spent baking in the heat at the top of the track....sorry no TR :upsidedow

Thank you for forgiving me for drinking BAD coffee! I promise it will never happen again.

And, yes, add riding EE in the front row to those beautiful planning pages you are working on!

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. I've been there!

Good idea on putting on the page. I think I can fit that :)

Eric and Taylor got the front row last time, it's pretty funny, Eric is holding his glasses onto his face with his finger holding the bridge like he's terrified they are going into fly off. He told me earlier this week that on the next trip he'd prefer not to wear his glasses to the parks. Which for his vision is fine actually.

Kendall's my ride buddy, it will be interesting to see if she will sit next to anyone else. Last year there was no way I'd have gotten her into the front row but who knows!

I love all the detail pictures, they are just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOH AK pictuers!! AK is such a beautiful park and you are right full of just amazing details that are so easy to miss!!!! I'm glad you shared those pictures with us MEK!!

Great job capturing the detail in AK! Those pictures are great also! I love the one of the masks! Can't wait for more.

All your pictures are wonderful!!!

DH gets impatient with me for stopping to take soooo many pictures! You can tell what his mood was by how many pictures I take in a day. There are somedays when he just won't wait for me so I don't take as many! I have to remind him to slow down and take in the magic!

Manntra's experience being stuck on the top of EE is one of the reason I'm hesitant to ride rides like that. If I got stuck up there and had to climb out the car I would have died right there! Actually, I'm not sure I could have climbed out of the car! They may have had to get someone to come get me, but only after sedating me.

I would love to have to climb off EE, RnRC, TOT, BTMRR, or Space Mountain!

In June????????? When in June???????? It obviously wasn't when I was there in June! :rotfl:

It was Father's Day. It wasn't even EMH. We rode KS first because I've always wanted to do this first. DH then ran for FP for EE while the girls and I stopped at the restroom. He called and told us to hurry up because there was only a 15 minute wait. Well, we didn't wait 15 minutes. We took a leisurely walk through and got right on. It was great!! And we had a FP for later.

I really think the heat kept people away that day. I think the heat index was like 110. :scared1:

Anyway that is our story.

Tracy -

These pictures are flippin' Great!!!!!! Thank you sooooooooo much for posting. Actually, they do look a tad scary, especially the one of the track below. :woohoo: I think I would have been a little freaked. :scared1:But, I will say, that must have been a cool experience. Have you been back on since or are you scarred for life? Thanks again!

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. I've been there!

Yup! A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!

Good idea on putting on the page. I think I can fit that :)

OH....so no front row for you unless Kendall gets a shot of bravery! Ahhhhh.... any girl who can play soccer like that, can ride the front row of EE!

I love all the detail pictures, they are just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks and thanks to Tracy for those rock'in pictures! Talk about detail!

OOH AK pictuers!! AK is such a beautiful park and you are right full of just amazing details that are so easy to miss!!!! I'm glad you shared those pictures with us MEK!!

thanks, Jen!.......and I have quite a few more to go!

Thanks! Oh, and I've got plenty more up my sleeve!

All your pictures are wonderful!!!

thanks!

Oh no! I can just picture that. You're still taking pictures, talking to your DH, and then you look up to find him half a block away! :rotfl:

:rotfl: I guess if it got hot enough you would get out!!!!! :rotfl: Seriously though.....those pics did look a little scary. But you have to admit....as scary as they look....those pics ROCK!

I would love to have to climb off EE, RnRC, TOT, BTMRR, or Space Mountain!

I'm not so sure about ToT! :rotfl: You're obviously braver than I.

Wow.....we were there the weekend before and it was blazing hot as well, but that seemed to do nothing for the crowds. Good for you for hitting it so perfectly! I can't believe the ride was walk on even after taking the time to ride KS. Way to go! :thumbsup2

I would love to have to climb off EE, RnRC, TOT, BTMRR, or Space Mountain!

I think I"ll let you ride by yourself when it gets stuck, I would be scared senseless if I had to actually move that high up in the air.

Mary Ellen, great pictures of Tibet, the details are wonderful. Denny is just going to have to understand that you are channeling your inner CP!

After our EE walk-on and our mini-Yeti photo session, we headed out to queue up for Nemo. I can't remember the exact start time of Nemo. It was either 10:15 or 10:30. I still hadn't settled into the September crowds. I kept flashing back to June and I was worried that we wouldn't get a seat for Nemo. I said, "Let's go stand in line now so we don't miss it".

Here's a few more pics I took on the way to Nemo......

Whoooops......No smile! :confused3

When we got over to the Nemo line it really wasn't very long. Denny insisted that we not wait in line, but rather we go do another attraction before Nemo started. I was hesistant, but decided that we still had ample time. So we headed over to the Primevil whirl. Back in June this ride had a wait time of 40 minutes. The ride time posted today?????? There was NO time posted. I didn't know whether this was good or bad, but we ventured in all the same. One thing I have noticed is that the wait for Primevil can pretty inconsistent. It can look short and then not move. Fortunately the ride today was a walk-on. We got behind these two cute little girls and their mom. I guess the one little girl got too scared, because she got lifted out of the queue into the arms of her dad. We ended up riding with the other little girl and her mom. They were so cute. I thought the mom might be a screamer, but she stayed cool and the little girl had a blast. She went running off the ride to her dad and sister to tell them all about it.

After PW we went back to check out the Nemo line. The line had started to enter the theatre, so in we went. We got a pretty decent seat. Usually I get the last seat in the house. So I was happy to be a little closer to the stage. Because my vantage point was pretty good, I decided to take some non-flash photography. So sit back and enjoy.....Finding NEMO The Musical......

So......I shall return with the rest of the pics.....soon....I Hope.

Wigd, I love the inner CP comment! You know how I love Animal Kingdom! :goodvibes

Mary Ellen, great pictures of Everest as you headed towards Nemo and how wonderful to ride Primeval Whirl with no wait -- I am telling you, I would love to go to Disney for a whole week in the off-season -- it would be so wonderful to ride all the rides with no wait!

I love Finding Nemo! I can't wait to go back with my camera to take pictures. We had my Mom's in May and it wasn't quite the same with hers.

Gotta love those off season crowds! :thumbsup2
