I got in on the Phillie Houseparty, but didn't get any sort of an acceptance or rejection for the other two. I alway get an email one way or the other. Hmmmmm.....

Go to the Houseparty site and join/sign up. There are parties you can sign up an interest in and you may or may not be chosen to participate. It's a gamble for everybody.

Print out a coupon to get up to 3 pumpkin-shaped pizzas for $7.99 each at Papa Murphys on Friday only. The coupon expires on 10/31/08.

Print out a coupon to receive a free game or movie rental when you pay to rent one at Movie Gallery. Coupon expires 11/30/08.

A Full Cup has a Target coupon (#30 down the line) that gives you $1 off when you purchase a $0.99 reusable Target bag AND an Ortega product....you get the bag FREE. Coupon expires 11/8/08.

Speaking of Metallica, Did you ever see Some Kind of Monster?

I thought it was really good, but I felt sooooo sorry for Kirk Hammett and Jason Newstead.

Why do you feel bad for Kirk- he is still with the band? Or am I outta the loop?

I felt bad for Dave Mustaine I love Dave. And of course for Cliff.....well, b/c he died. But if you listen to the music that Jason plays now- he did not fit well in Metallica.

Yes- I have seen the movie a few times. Honestly I think they made James look like a real whiner. Well- maybe he is a whiner. I thought it was too much with that sappy therapist. I thought he was going to cry when they gave him the boot.

The movie totally changed my view of the band. Not for the good.
