That is about the same time I put in my request. cross fingers. Of course I am in Alabama so it will probably take longer everything does.
Well I am in GA, so things aren't very fast here either

I seriously doubt that. I am not affiliated with the same political party as my Congressman. I was nice and polite in my email. Although I don't agree with his political views, I can't see being ugly to someone when I am asking for something from them. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards
I will try again. I just got a no and was sent a link to his email site for donations.
You contact your congressman (or woman) and ask for tickets to the Kennedy Space Center for a specific date. If they are available (there are a limited number for each day that the congressional members can get).
Be aware that some congressmen/women don't know about this. When I contacted ours, she replied back that she can get tickets for the Kennedy Performing Arts Center. I had to point out to her that she can also get the Kennedy Space Center tickets. It took her about 2 weeks to figure it out and get back to me.
As I said, they are (generally) issuing tickets about 6 months from now, so you need to make the request pretty early.
I wonder if this goes by your political party affiliation. Last time we went my congress person was not nice about my request at all. I will try again next year when we are closer to the date.
I had mentioned earlier that the first time I contacted my Congressman's office to request tickets I was told they could get me tickets for Washington Tours, but not the Space Center. So, I cut and pasted the information from this board as to who they should contact about the tickets and sent it to her. She thanked me and said she was unaware of the program. She checked (this was in July) and said all tickets (at least for Delaware) were gone until February and on August 1st she could request February tickets. She notified me when she sent the request and than a couple of days later she notified me that we got the tickets. They will be send me an email a month before that will serve as our tickets according to her. That gave me the impression that you might have to ask 6 months in advance, but I doubt that is true all the time. Good luck to everyone with your requests.
Anyone from Massachusetts 1st district have any luck? I'm still waiting to hear a response to my request. Thinking I better follow up with another written request. First attempt was email.
I got my tickets from John Olver's office when he represented the 1st district. My initial contact was via the contact form on his web site. His office did a nice job with the KSC tickets.
Here's the contact form for Richard Neal -- not sure if you that's what you used when you refer to emailing them previously.

I sent requests today of my NY rep. For May 9. I'll let you all know what I hear.

I emailed Marcy Kaptur and got the expected response. Silence.
