free dining pin and standard view rooms

Is it possible to get a standard view room in the value resorts with the free dining pin?

Tried all 4 resorts and all that came up were preferred views.

Is it just the dates I'm looking at or are the preffered rooms all they'll let you book?

I have had free dining with a standard room before. My guess is that those rooms were already booked since it is the busy season anyway.

Just this morning I booked 2 standard rooms at Pop with free dining pin for June 26-July 2! The first quote she gave me was for preferred rooms, then I asked her to check if there were standard rooms and she did. Good luck!

I was able to get a standard room at POP for 8/13-21 with the new FD PIN, so yes it's possible, maybe just sold out for your time frame
