Am I the only one not seeing where to check availability online for the winter FD offer? My website says call now and this morning I was able to add FD online. ????

I tried to book those dates as well & couldn't figure out why there has been no availability for a few weeks trying to book those dates.
Then, I heard someone say there is a huge Garnier (sp?) convention that week!

Is it allowed to have 2 reservations for the same period? My TA was not able to get thru today and had to quit until tomorrow. I am able to book what I want with free dining online. Can I make the new reservation then cancel it if she is able to get the first reservation updated?

Your TA needs to hang up and call back. I called this morning and was on hold for 2 hours and just called back at 6 and got through right away. That's crazy!

We booked at POP preferred for Nov. 16-23.

Thats when we will be there! At the same resort!!

I had three reservations in my name earlier today. Then I called and canceled two.

Our week too. We received a pin. We were told that the week sold extremely well (big crowds and long lines coming up grrr), so it won't be included.

I have a ressie with a TA. They said they have been trying to get through all day but I was able to get through multiple times. I can't cancel that ressie and make a new one to get FD, they can't cancel because they can't get through, and I can make a new one because of double booking. Disney will not let me. HELP!

Book a new one online. Then email the TA telling her you want to cancel that one.

Sorry everyone, I have not had any time to read everyone's stories or to update on here today. Between going through an agonizing 5 hour wait and the fact that I was at work and not getting much done during that 5 hours. I had to get things caught up. Anyway my wonderful TA got us the deal for all 3 rooms. We saved a bunch. Hopefully will get on after work and read everyone's stories and elaborate on mine more. Thanks to everyone for listening to all my whining through the months!! Special thanks to black who was right all along!!!

Oh no! We chose October because DH already doesn't like huge crowds so I figured we could at least get medium crowds at the end of October.

I really REALLY hope you get some pixie dust!!! I keep coming back to check & see how you made out ~~~ Hoping something opens up! When are you trying to book for? Maybe with everyone switching their dates around & cancelling rooms ~ Hopefully it'll open something up!!

Thanks for the pixie dust! I'll take anything I can get! I am hoping a lot of people had stuff on hold and they will be released in the next couple days.
Our preferred dates are 11/15-11/24 at POR, we need AB. As I've said, I'd stay in a value, but I don't think my autism spectrum son would do well there with all the sensory input there, deluxes are out of our price range...I could get 2 RGR at POR for the same price! I'm considering Cabins but not sure if my husband will go for that.
I will definitely post if I get something!

If the TA has been trying all day, I would give her another shot to get the reservation. Then you could cancel the new one. If she can't get it, however, then you can cancel the original. Hate to see a TA lose business she's been working on, especially since it's the Disney system that's messed so much up today.

Yes, you can book one on line and then cancel the other one.

Yes, you can, but you need to do it a least 72 hours before check in.

I think the Gartner convention is like the 2nd week in October this year.. Last year it was like the 3rd week of October and booking rooms was a nightmare as everything was showing full, but even with the convention it wasn't any busier than times I've been in October in the past, but luckily I think the week of the 18+ should be free of the Gartner convention, I just looked at the dates and it's officially October 6th-10th.
