Sorry everyone, I have not had any time to read everyone's stories or to update on here today. Between going through an agonizing 5 hour wait and the fact that I was at work and not getting much done during that 5 hours. I had to get things caught up. Anyway my wonderful TA got us the deal for all 3 rooms. We saved a bunch. Hopefully will get on after work and read everyone's stories and elaborate on mine more. Thanks to everyone for listening to all my whining through the months!! Special thanks to black who was right all along!!!

I want to cry! DH finally got through on the phone lines and all availability at POR with a trundle is gone!!! The CM said he had never seen things this crazy for FD and seen these rooms go so fast.

This was the cheapest way we could have done our trip and I'm so upset. We have NEVER booked FD before on the first day. We usually waited a few weeks and never had a problem with availability.

Thank you! Fortunately I have free dining for my family but this is for all my clients. I got so frustrated earlier today that I held all new ones for them but would like to get through so I can release the others back. I feel bad about holding them but I did NOT want my clients to miss out because Disney messed up big time today. I'm in agreement with all the other posters that stated the wealthy company Dis is and there is No excuse for today. Ok now that I got that vent out..pixie dust for all

I know people have been worried about this for awhile but don't panic yet. There is a chance a room can open up or they add more rooms. Just keep checking. I've seen more than one person say that Disney keeps checking and changing to add and more rooms when ppl start cancelling.

After all these technical issues, I've got to think they'll release Disney Visa next time, it seems that's what bogged down the system so badly. I think if DV people could have booked earlier today wouldn't have been so INSANE.

I have a ressie with a TA. They said they have been trying to get through all day but I was able to get through multiple times. I can't cancel that ressie and make a new one to get FD, they can't cancel because they can't get through, and I can make a new one because of double booking. Disney will not let me. HELP!

Guess I'll just keep on waiting. When I went through them in 2011 it was smooth sailing and it was with the same agent. I'll just wait and hope for the best. The fb page didn inform me that the TA website went down and that their stuggling to get discounts. Hubby said we'll go no matter what...just wish I would hear something.. She did just send me an email and said she possibly won't get back to me til later today Their swamped...just hope I'm able to get fd...I don't care if she doesn't tell me until tomorrow...as long as I get it...lol

Hope all of you that are booked with travel agents Rec'd your FD or RO discount!
With that said, I cannot imagine how long you'd have to stay on the phone & try & help ALL of ur clients!
I was on the phone this a.m. a total of 3 hours!! For one lousy reservation! Lol
Maybe this will give some of you the confidence to book it yourself..I am NOT, I repeat NOT saying that you shouldn't book w. a T.A., but some of you seem to be similar to me & be a CONTROL FREAK! Lol lol Just a thought-there's a lot of info to learn here. Others, I'm sure it's easier, ppl who work & would not have hours to spend on the phone.
I'm sure the T.A.'s are so busy that they're trying to get everyone the discount! Even if you didn't get it today, there are people with multiple reservations! Hang tough!!

I've been trying to get through all day off and on. . .the one time i actually got through was to hear that the system was down and I needed to call back later. I have existing reservations at POR in a royal room, but I've been online and found availability at CSR. If I decided to book online, how do I cancel my existing reservation? I've only put $200 down. . .will that automatically be refunded to my debit account?
