I'll be right there with you... same dates, same resort, same lack of discounts. Maybe something will open up for us soon.

Keep calling back. About an hour ago we were able to snag to FD rooms at the Poly Oct 19-24. We are just going to do a split stay and stay the last two nights at POR RR. Still saving about $1600 compared to our original reservation at the YC.

Does it show anywhere online that you have a magical express ressie? I know they are going to send me something snail mail but I wasn't sure if it would show online or if I would get an email.

Also does anyone know how long it usually take to get the tags in the mail?

My trip starts October 27th and I got my tags about 5 days ago.

Can you book the 19-23 on either the FD or RO and just do a separate Res for the 24-25 linking them? Later if those dates open up with a disc. add them to the discounted Res.

Actually the one time I couldn't get the disc for all my nights I was able to add the rack rate nites at the end of my Res not needing 2 Reservations. You just can not at Rack rte rooms at the start of the reservation

Ok, called today after doing math ALL DAY LONG on various options for our family of 5. Got FD at POR for Oct 19-23. We had originally planned on a 5 night stay and that is just 4. So, I looked and found the Beach Club had availability for the 23rd and 24th so booked it room only at 30% off! Pretty excited because I wanted to try a deluxe while we are there and have been planning all along (in my head) to be at Epcot towards the end of the trip. All in all, we are saving about $400 and getting an extra night. We will have to pay OOP for a few meals, but I had figured that anyway because we want to do some character breakfasts. Just need to work on moving ADRs around some AND getting the new dates in my head. My thinking has really been set around a 5 day schedule, M,T,W,Th, F and one day at each park and one day at a water park and now I feel crazy like the puzzle won't work! I think in the end we will love this new option and it will give me something to work and perfect until we depart......

Do you know how many pics approximately are on the cd and since they are on a cd can you take them to like Walmart & print them out?

I'm pretty sure it's unlimited. (I've never hit a limit)

And you do get the licensing agreement for the pics so you can print them out yourself.

If you purchase the photo pass do you still have to pay for each individual pic when you order them when you get home? Sorry if that didn't make sense. Lol. If you don't then how many pics do you receive for $149?

You will have all your pics plus your edited/enhanced pics on the CD with the copyright, so you can print your pics from anywhere you want. Such as Shutterfly, Walgreens, etc. : ). How many pics depends on how many you have taken at the park plus how many you edit and enhance with all the cute WDW frames/borders and stickers.

Just wondering, who got FD at POR for nov 11-16? I tried Thursday. Got a cm at 7:30 am. No luck. We were disappointed to give up the royal room but are getting excited about AoA. Switched today. Not saving as much but ok with it.

We got fd for our dates 11/11-11/17 standard room/wheelchair assesable. I understand that the royal rooms and ab are very popular so that could be why it was so tough to get. Who knows, maybe the switch to AoA will work out nice for your family.

And with the character dining and ride shots it makes a pretty good deal.

When you get home, you log onto the Photopass website and order your CD.



You use the voucher with the code that will be sent to you ahead of time (assuming you pre-order)

So WHY will they honor the FD promotion way into the black out period (where there aren't any rooms available for free dining anyway unless you check in with the promotion period) but they won't offer the FD for my length of stay WITHIN the promotional period. I understand they only allot a certain % of rooms for the discounts.. but I dont follow the logic in letting me have FD for my length of stay way into the black out period, but not within the promotional dates.

The CM tried to tell me that he hadn't been able to book POR for anyone during that time with or without the FD, which is a straight up lie because I pull up availability every time if I search on the website- without going through the promotional page.. ugghh .. just irritated with the whole thing.

Wow! That sounds frustrating and doesn't sound quite right. Was he saying there is no availability those two nights or that he could not give you free dining those two nights?

Thanks! On the bright side, we originally wanted AoA but I thought it was too expensive. Our trip starts 11/9 and I was hoping for free dining the whole trip based on past discounts. I was uneasy about the split stay anyway. My frugal nature wants to save what we can. It doesn't make or break the trip. Not buying the dining plan. I think I am most excited about the 2 bathrooms and the private parent room!
