Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!! Dates Confirmed!!! ~ Part 2

Well I haven't heard from my TA since early yesterday morning. Have no idea how it's going or what she got for me...i was going to try and do it today myself...but with the system not working properly...that is a no go.

Sooooooo I am not going to worry and just hope my Ta comes through. If not..well I am sure there is a bench some place in MK that will hold five of us...or at least a couple benches. Hopefully it will rain so we can get a shower once in awhile. I would think since the bench is on disney property they would at least count that as a stay and give me fd.

We should check the fine print. Can they do that? If your check-in date falls under the free dining and your checkout does not they are still supposed to give you free dining for your stay (up to 14 nights or something like that) so how can they get away with blocking a weekend if it's in the middle of your FD stay?

This offer is valid for arrivals most nights:

"September 29 to October 2, 2013
"October 18 to November 2, 2013
"November 11 to November 23, 2013
"December 12 to December 22, 2013

No where can I find anything that says Nov 9-11 are excluded days.

Your check in date would have to be Nov 11. It's based on check in date not if any of your dates fall within the timeframe.

Sounds like most of us are switching to CSR so there must be availability there! I haven't heard from my TA yet but MDE updated. So im assuming she had luck and just hasnt had time to contact me directly yet. Can you check that?

Looks like were at POP together at the same time. We're traveling Nov.16-23. I'll be the lady by the pool with a drink. I'll need it after all of this.

I called and got through after only a minute or 2 hold, confirmed with a CM that only a 3 night stay is required to be eligible for FD even though it says 6 online.

Wanted 10/23 to 10/28 or 10/29 but nothing was available in either POR or CSR, asked the CM to see if there was any magic left after such a long day already and

I am now booked 10/24 - 10/29 at CSR with FD!

Just a little FYI...when you cancel a discounted room (free dining or room discount) it doesn't go back into the discounted room inventory, it goes back into the rack rate inventory. So those of you thinking that all those that double-booked with the discounts will be freeing up those discounted rooms...think again!!!

I just called them myself, and got through right away. Keyed in my reservation numbre, and now I'm waiting. Only problem - I have a TA, so they may not accept me changing my reservation? Not sure - I'll wait and find out from them.

That is true, but they will look at the vacancies and add rooms to the offer if they need to. Happens all the time.

Oh no Did you hold forever? I have to say I got VERY lucky. I was only on hold for 15 min. 2 thoughts 1.)payback for my extreme stress over no PIN, or 2.) I said new ressie instead of modify existing. I sincerely hope you had success with little additional stress

If a TA made your ressie, you cannot make changes to it. Only your TA can.

Don't forget with all these ressie switches and changing dates to post any ADR's you'll be cancelling in the Cancel ADR forum so folks who are waiting for certain ADR's get a heads up!
