So are you not able to do online checkin if you don't want a credit card linked to your account? I never do that since I use multiple cards.

I don't see an opt out option, just a card and pin number selections...why don't they make this easy?

In Jan of this year I was able to change the credit card from the one I listed for online check in to a new one upon physical check in.

Yes, but I read on another board that IT is working on loading the rest of the colors. We all just keep inching closer to getting all that we want. .

Some people on the MB threads are saying to "modify" your check in (even if you don't need to) and it seems to become available after that.... don't know for sure though...

When does Fast Pass selections become available? My MDE keeps saying Im linked but won't do anything else. I'm so confused!

Just booked my FP+. Got the gray MB option as well but like others have said, someone called IT and they said they were still uploading colors. We are at BC 10/20-10/25

Do online check in and it should pop up, that's my check in date too

I didn't do online check in, and I was able to customize the MBs (DD - blue, DGD - pink, DSIL - green and red for me). Speaking of which, for the posts on MBs. I hadn't logged in to MDE in awhile so didn't know they would be available for our stay at POR Sep 12 - 21. As soon as I read about it here (last Monday - Aug 19), I logged in & customized them. Good thing I didn't wait to do that. My daughter received the magic bands yesterday! Would have been a bummer to be stuck with all gray ones and no names on them. Btw, the names are on the underneath side of the band so they aren't visible to anybody else.

Question for Disney experts. I am STILL trying to decide if I should do online check in. I'm 65 days out. I was told if I want to pick up my tickets early not to do online check in. What do you think they mean by picking up early? Maybe several days earlier? Or earlier in the day that I check in? We are flying in at 11 A.M. and can't check in till after 4 P.M. If I do online will I be able to get my park tickets early so we can go to the parks? This is our first trip so maybe online check in is not a good idea for me?

Me too! It sounds like if you do online check in too early, then you will have to do a "modification" to it for the customization to show up.

You can check in as early as 6am on your check in day. You don't have to wait until official check in time. If your room isn't ready when you check in, they can text you when it is ready, and you will get your tickets and dining credits immediately at check in whether your room is ready or not.There is a spot to put your cell number in during the online check in process. Also, I assume they meant picking up tickets using "early ticket pick up", which is 1-3 days prior to your check in date. We always do online check in, and we always arrive around 1pm.

Usually when people are talking about picking up their tickets early, they are talking about doing a split stay and wanting to pick up their tickets before the 2nd part of the split stay check in date. I would think that you'd be able to get your tickets when you get there. You should also be able to "check-in" before 4pm, but they might not have a room ready for you yet. They will, however, hold your luggage for you & [usually] have it waiting for you in your room when you get back to the hotel. Good luck - I know you'll have a wonderful time - woohoo for 1st trip to see The Mouse!!

I believe they were referring to if you were arriving a whole day or more early (like for a split stay). Everything as far as park tickets, dining plan are usually ready for use around 6 am of the day you are scheduled to check in.

Yes. I did this in January. I checked in at about 40 days out and arrived the day of at 6am, got my kttw card and went to the park until the room was ready. I think that person meant days early.

You can reserve BOG for lunch? I know you can make ADR for dinner (which we were lucky enough to actually be able to do!), but I didn't think you could do that for lunch as it's considered QS.
