If I have a disney visa debit card, not credit, would I be able to book (free dining) when the disney visa card holders are offered it first? Being that it is usually offered to that group before the general public. TIA
They usually send out notice through e-mails or flyers, but last time I found out first here. This board seems to have insiders in the know and they share the news before anything is "officially" announced
Joining in. Hoping for FD for Nov 13-21. We booked the bounceback room discount for POFQ since that had been excluded for FD a number of years, but we're looking at staying at Pop again with FD and upgrading to DDP. Either way, we're going back to the world.
It's really frustrating that you can't stay at more than one hotel on your trip and link longer tickets and 2 hotel stays to the same trip. Disney really should make it so you can do a package with multiple hotels. If you check out of one of their resort hotels on one day and check in to another one on the same day it should all be considered one trip, and the tickets and promotion should carry over. The WDW resort is so large, that moving hotels is very reasonable.
You can. You can now book a ticketless package over the phone with just room and dining so you can create a split trip with either package tickets on your first stay to cover the entire trip, or tickets purchased separately. Annual passholders were also offered ticketless packages. However you cannot do this with free dining unless you are willing to purchase tickets with both stays, because the free dining promotion requires a minimum ticket purchase for EACH reservation.

Subscribing! I have booked for fall. Regardless of the free dining we will be going, however, FD would allow us to fly instead of driving. Hoping 1) for FD or 2) gas stays as cheap as it is now!??
Anticipation..... My daughter is waiting for the free dining for the fall. They are a family of five and they really can't afford to go unless they have the free dining...its just too expensive for their size family. I am grateful that Disney offers the free dining for families like my daughter's. Fingers Crossed! I have looked at the past offers, so we are all hopeful that things will work out for this year.
Last year race weekends (ToT and Wine & Dine) and Columbus Day were blacked out (I had to skip last year but had friends/family down during both of those and know they were blacked out from helping them plan)
