Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Does anyone know the app. $ difference between the dining plan and deluxe dining plan if I were to hopefully get fd at a mod. upgrade ?

The cost of the dining plans this year are:
QS: 41.99 adult, 16.03 child
DDP: 60.04 adult, 19.23 child
Deluxe: 109.53, 29.86 child

So the upgrade to deluxe would be 49.49/night for an adult and 10.63/night for a child.

and he is not the only person who left the DIS boards because they were "attacked" when FD did not drop on the predicted day, or the FD dates were off by a few days. For the most part the information was pretty close to spot on, but that was not good enough for some people. too bad this minority ruined it for the rest of us.

That is soo sad - I was soo appreciative of all his insight and hard work last year. His information was spot on the majority of the time but his dedication to helping us out was much appreciative from my end. Thankfully I do see his posts on his FB page which off good insight but it's a shame he was attacked :-(

We didn't go to Disney last year, even though we were planning to. But I watched the FD thread just to see how it all goes down. Black made those threads; his information, dedication and insight allowed a lot of people to access a great discount that I had never even heard about until I found the DIS. You would think that a group of people who love Disney, The Happiest Place on Earth, would be kinder to a fellow Disney-fanatic, especially one that is helping us get a really great discount before the rest of the world!

I wish you luck, but POFQ was excluded from Free Dining last year. I'm hoping to stay there on my trip November of next year so fingers crossed they bring it back at that resort!

We booked the BB offer back in December for POFQ due to the fact that it is hardly ever offered for FD. We want to stay at CSR during FD or back at Pop and upgrade the dining plan to the DDP.

Yes very sad he and a few others were sooo helpful. As you can see from some previous threads, on this board even, the way some people feel the need to attack others. Its ridiculous. This same poster gave me flack last year when i had a question...Some people take themselves way too seriously. This is Disney...be nice, have fun!!!!

Add me to the list of people waiting. We're going Oct 2-9 (depending on the school schedule staying the same). We're already booked and almost paid off,but it would be nice to have part of that back for spending cash.

I did the deluxe plan once and it was just sooooo much food. I felt like we were in restaurants more then we were on rides, but we only went for 4 days and did 3 table meals each day so those 2 things were probably my downfall

Thanks I prob would use some tables as QS. I just really would like to not constantly be calculating what we've done and where. Plus if I did we would try and do MBYB and CRT. They are 2 credits each.

That's what we did on the DXDP. TS early breakfast, QS lunch, TS dinner. It was perfect.

Never seemed liked a ton of food for us since a lot of our meals were character buffets, so we just ate as much as we wanted. It was nice to knock out the characters while we ate. It opened up our park time for more rides and shows and stuff.

I'll be watching this thread too! We hope to go in October for MNSSHP and it would be awesome to get free dining! We plan to go regardless...but it would be an added perk! I love the dining plan since we do so many character meals.

First time poster, long time lurker. Watching this thread for news and insight. My family of 4, soon to be 5, took our first trip to DW in Nov '14 and did the whole Osborne lights/Christmas party/Food and Wine Fest. thing. probably the most amazing vacation i've ever had. I can thank my wonderful wife for all her planning and saving along the way to get us to the promised land. We're planning to go again this year around the same time. VERY much enjoyed the food and wine fest, and i may even reg. for the half marathon this year too. Depending on how much vacay my employer will let me take at once, we might even try to push it into a late Oct. - Mid Nov. stay. I have to say that i've enjoyed most of the dining we've encountered, and much of it was enhanced through character visits and smoke and mirrors. Needless to say we're addicted the magic and very excited to return. Thanks for all the insight i've read so far. Its no real secret why this board is a wealth of info.

I bailed on the last two FD threads last fall due to the number of complainers and people who took it upon themselves to harass Chase employees until they gave out codes and then demanded CMs to use them when they were not supposed to. Some here were simply pixie dusted by CMs who were not aware of the one day delay of the release, and when they posted they got free dining, they were called liars. If people can't appreciate info they are given in advance, they no longer get it in advance. Simple as that. Good luck to those hoping to get free dining this year. Hopefully someone new will come along and divulge some info, but don't expect it to be Black.

Im surprised that there is no option on these boards for the creator or a mediator to ban someone from posting. That might help resolve or at least reduce rude posts
