Imagine my excitement to find a email from Disney Destinations in my spam folder....to only have it tell me to request my FREE Vacation Planning DVD ....at least I know I am still in the system and believe me we have more than enough DVDs for the kids to play with lol...hubby got 2 for some reason a couple weeks apart

Ditto that!!!! I am not going to call anymore until it sounds like there may have been a second batch of pins go out. I think usually by now there is. Not sure what the hold up is. Hopefully, they are saving the remaining discounts for the public. That way we all have the chance to get what we are looking for.

Last year the fall thru Dec. special offers were released July 11, and the year before that it was August 3.

So.....2 years ago it was in AUGUST

........1 year ago it was in JULY

The upper mgmt person I spoke to said the new offers (no details on what the offer would be) were scheduled to be released JUNE (17 was the date given)

Looks like the trend is "moving up" a month????

........1 year ago it was in JULY

The upper mgmt person I spoke to said the new offers (no details on what the offer would be) were scheduled to be released JUNE (17 was the date given)

Looks like the trend is "moving up" a month????

That would be nice, but the trends this year seem to be a bit later than usual not earlier. I would be so happy to have it announced in June though!!!

I am wondering if they could have been referring to pins either snail mail or email going out again?

I haven't called yet but could it be that they are waiting till they up the prices?

I mean we all know they are definitely not lacking profitwise but they are smart people...if they raise the rates a little and then offer the incentive of free dining to the public it may help to fill their rooms...

So far I have not heard of anyone getting a free dining pin via snail mail. I have received mailings from Disney Destinations so far this year for winter, spring, summer and on Friday for September. These were all only nominal room discounts. Maybe they are gearing up to send out the trophy pins--"Free Dining"!

I didn't get snail mail or email, I called and they "found" one. Even after I had it applied I didn't receive anything.

You betcha!! That would be the reason for them to hold out. And it is thought that the increase will be at the beginning of June
