I'm curious where you found the Canadian free dining deal? We're trying to book a trip upcoming and would love free dining (and we're Canadian).

Go to www.disney.ca, click on the picture of Chip and Dale where it says "Save at Walt Disney World Resort", click on "get details" and finally click on "Vacation Packages". In addition to the dates released in the US, you will see that Free Dining starts again on August 19th - September 29th 2012 for Canadians.:thumbsup2

Does anyone know if everyone in the group has to be Canadian? My DBIL is Canadian and he might be going with us. Could he book the deal for everyone? :confused3

that might be the easist way, i know people in the u.k. have even longer to get free dinning

Been following this a while, and have had a similar link, maybe the same, saved. I decided to try and book this morning, 10 nights with free dining August 2012 for CBR, and it went right through.

I used my normal Disney site account, it knows I'm from the US, there was no mention of Canada only, and I received my confirmation e-mail immediately. The reservation also shows up now, with free dining, right under the one I have for next week in the My Disney Vacation portion of the site.

I figure what the heck. It's booked, confirmed, with free dining for 2012 in August. I'm good to go. :)

I have to admit that I am very tempted to do this. We were originally thinking of going in mid-October 2012 but after seeing all those dates blacked out for free dining this year ( and no other GP discount announced yet,) I am thinking that we will try to arrive at the end of September.

Warning! I am in Canada so I don't know if this affected the way the www.disney.com site responded to my checking for free dining or not. If you are in the US, please try the following:
1. Go to http://disneyparks.disney.go.com 2. Click on the castle where it says Special Offers for Walt Disney World Resort 3. Click on See the latest Offers 4. Look at Vacation Packages - it says from October 2011 through September 2012 , Click on Vacation packages for complete details.
I am not sure if this is coming up because I am in Canada or if it has been extended in the US too. If you are in the US, please try and see if the dates show up the same way on your computer.
Good Luck!

I am in the US and it didn't work for me :(

I just looked at mine and it came up for me!! I'm in the US. Went to waltdisneyworld.com and it popped up.

Nevermind. I must have been on Canada.

It is letting me book through the Canadian site. Is that allowed? Do I have to be from Canada, because it doesn't say I have to be.

I went through the booking process, then exited out to call my friends to see when they wanted to go. When I tried to go back, it would not let me access the Canadian site again.

This is a residency offer, much like a FL resident price.

A Valid ID from Canada is going to be required at check in and is likely to be part of the invoice/booking code. I checked this out with Disney today and after talking to Guest Services I would suggest patience by US residents. You don't want to end up with an expensive mistake while standing at the front desk.

FWIW.

I wish they would do FD for early August 2012:) That would be really magical for me:)
