Free Credit Report?

Anyone know how to obtain a free credit report without having to "subscribe" to some kind of service? The ones I've been finding online have a $79.95 "Mortgage Protection" type of service and we're only interested in getting free copy of our credit report.

it wasn't free, but we only had to pay like $30 for ours and it wasn't a subscription. i don't remember where it was though, we did it about a year ago.

Hi. I get mine every year. If you go to experian.com or transunion.com, or equifax.com and read thru, you may be able to get a free copy. I think you can get it free online from experian but have to call the others and have it mailed to you.

I live in Mass and am allowed 1 free one a year. Last year and this, there are things on there that don't belong to me.

I think you can call the credit reporting agencies direct and get a copy for free. I did this a few years back.
