I Know I mentioned this earlier, but if you have the same version of the program on two computers and you want to carry over the data from one to another what is the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks
Chris

I send myself the files where the date has changed, and put them in whatever directory they came from. Can't remember which files, but its easy to do.

Dave's program uses an .ini file which has some of your setup information, and all other files are saved with a .DVC extension. Those files are all your reservations, contracts, etc. and those are the files you want to be sure are on both computers. (Note while Dave used the extension .dvc, they are actually just text files. You can open them directly using Notepad if you want if you're curious what they look like)

But keep in mind that you also must update the resort point files each year. You can look at those by name. Make sure both computers have all the point files. Obviously if you download them onto one computer, you can just copy them to the other computer, no need to download separately.

Is it a matter of doing start--->search (or find)--->folders/files ...dvc

And then dragging those files to the DVCManager folder in the hard drive.

Thanks
chris

Those files should all be in the DVCManager folder, along with the regular program files.

I'd just use Exporer (Right Click Start) and go to that folder directly to get the files.
