Can you bring food off a ship? See below for context.

My daughter has celiac disease. While on the ship she will be fine, I worry about the relative lack of food options in MCO and certainly to purchase on the plane.
Can she bring food like a GF sandwich, or even packaged foods off the ship into Port Canaveral?

Sealed packages, yes. Sandwiches, no.

I could be mis-remembering but I don’t remember our carryon luggage being x-rayed on the way off the ship on debarkation day. I know we had opened packages of snacks in our carryon luggage when we left the ship as we hadn’t finished all our snacks and had a day of travel before us.

On our last cruise on Icon, the crew told me we were not allowed to bring food off aside from bags of chips. Our carry on luggage was not xrayed or searched when disembarking in Miami.
