Hi guys. Just checking out the FREAP chat. I have posted on he Freebie thread (the few times I've found something worth posting). I don't know about you guys but I am draggin for a Monday. This whole "Baby Spam bot" thing is nuts. I asked my DH (a computer guy) and he says it's very likely that She/He/it is using our info. I never even knew that was possible. Makes me a little sad. Nowhere is safe if the DIS Boards are being corrupted!

I just finished doing my yoga- it's the first time this vacation I've managed to. My butt has been chasing me up the stairs, so I knew it was time to do something about it.

I have wanted to learn yoga for sooooo long, but haven't done it YET! I am determined to do so EVENTUALLY! Do you like it? Is it helping your booty? I only ask because I have a kindof J-LO booty and have noticed a little...ummm...."change"....happening lately! I don't like it and am not ready to give up my bikinis yet!

That is something my dd would say. I glad that she loved her room

I told my DD that she can help me finish organizing her stuff, putting clothes back in drawers, etc....so that she can keep control of her own room from now on.....She looked at me like a deer in headlights!

I think there is way too mcuh drama going on with you know who- and NOW no JD pics??? So???? we can take money from people but we can't enjoy some JD!?

I think I am taking a long vacation from there! .......let the freebie thread get nice and sterile just the way people want it.

I have seen other freebie sites that are just like that- no fun- just posting. Sounds fun!

I don't think it was meant that NO JD pics are allowed...I think it was just meant that everyone who was bumping it for fluff was getting a little out of hand...JMO....I think JD eye candy is certainly allowed, just not all the drama, which you were certainly not doing!

So no dropping out on us! We all love you and your posts and your JD pics! It was just a weird day....

Hadley- Yes, I find that yoga is really great for toning up arms and booties. I took a few classes and have a DVD of one of them that I keep up with. Some of the instructors are too into it for me- I'm the type who gets the giggles easily so I have to be in the right frame of mind to attend classes. It is also pretty non-competitive; the best you can do is what is expected. Spinning was far too stressful for me (and I REALLY stunk at it).

Kellie and Hadleysun-so sorry about your losses. Its tough to lose someone you care for, I still think about my dad often and how I can't believe he's not here anymore!

Nataliebellesmom-I am glad the unpacking is done (or almost done). That has always been a tough job for me! I always want to make sure I find the exact right spot for everything so it seems to take me forever to finish unpacking EVERYTHING!

So P'cola Beach was fun. We didn't go in the water too much (of course I live just down the road for the beaches here so that was okay) but I do enjoy going up to the panhandle. I miss the Southern charm you get from up that way.

We got our dog on Saturday from the animal shelter. SO may I introduce you all to MAX!!

He's a 7 month old German Shepherd Mix and so sweet!! We are crate training him ( never done this before so its new to us as well!). He already keeps an eye on my DD as if he is keeping a watchful eye for her safety! Gotta love that!

Hi, all!

We had a good trip at the State Fair. They had the market auction on Thursday morning, of all things, so we completely missed the reason we went over. They usually have 2 weeks and 2 weekends of horse racing and they only had one week this year: the week before we went over.

But, we still had a good time. They always have Montana Lottery booths set up at the local Montana fairs and they give away freebies and stuff. We got 2 little mini Montana Lottery flashlight keychains, DH won a black ML sweatshirt, we spent $30 on tickets and won $59 back, and got additional free lottery tickets with purchases but didn't win anything, this weekend, with those. We ate fair food, got some little freebies from the commercial booths, and bought some unique stuff to bring home.

I am sorry to hear about the sad losses our FREAPS have been going through lately. Such a shame!

Sounds like everyone else has been busy in a good way....unpacking...and decorating....and enjoying summer!

Kellie, you have been patient for so very long! It sounds like you are slowly but surely getting your strength back, though.

I went to the DDS this morning and got a root canal completed. He had ALOT of trouble with it and I am terribly sore tonight. My whole head seems to hurt. I think I will go pack my face with ice and hope for the best.

I get to go to the DDS on Friday and have 2 wisdom teeth extracted while I'm AWAKE Who wants to swap place with me

There were some posts on the freebie threads about the reason behind certain freebie posts that seem to have disappeared but maybe I'm imagining things

We did have some jellyfish (stinging kind that is) but not nearly as bad as Ft. Walton area.

Max looks like he will get pretty big-the paws are rather large. He's already at 40 lbs and he's only 7 months old. But we wanted a big dog, and it appears that a big dog we will have!

So, did some posts about the Spambot really disappear? Interesting!

LOL...I had posted on the BOGUS "Baby" freebie thread about how
I thought she was a spambot, and my post mysteriously disappeared, and no PM from a mod or anything. No clue as to what is going on.

My DH is a computer techie professional as well, and he thinks that she is getting our info and being paid as well-fishing, as he called it. It's so funny-if you look at her thread, she is the ONLY one that seems to be posting on it. Which proves to me at least that it is a scam and I will not click on anything she posts.

I just found it odd that when I clicked to search for other posts by that poster and looked at 10 plus pages of posts there were only 2 non-freebie/coupon link contained posts. I would think that in the case of the Disboards, a poster signs up and posts questions and comments about various topics, not just links to sign up for freebies or coupons. A person that is only posting links for other sites, and nothing else, seems to have something to gain from their actions. I am not trying to start an arguement, only state my opinion.

I did that too. It does seem odd. It is hard to know what to think. However, as expressed before, the freebie thread has always been a team effort. We have enjoyed it that way and I am sure we all hope it will remain that way.
