Remember I will be there to provide entertainment for him...:rotfl: (hmmm now will that make the day seem longer -- he may just want to hide from me then).

Thats okay drive him nuts. Then he will think it is me.:rotfl2:

Our family had Easter dinner yesterday- DH and I had a surprise party to go to, so we skipped dinner.

Not a big deal- DH and I do not celebrate Easter anyway. No candy for us. Hope everyone is having a good day.

This is so OT:rotfl2: But I am sitting here watching the Travel channel and they are doing a show about the World's Best Fast Food Stops.

Has anyone from NYC ever visited the McDonalds on Broadway it is a sit down restaurant with waiters!

I am going to NYC in a few weeks with some friends> I am going to see if they want to check it out.

We are doing lunch at Jekyll and Hyde Pub Has anyone ever been there??? Looks awesome!:thumbsup2

I have heard abot the Mcdonalds but never been. I think that would freak me out to have a waiter take my order for a happy meal:rotfl2:
Never been to the Jekyll and Hyde pub but that sounds cool. I asked DD and she said it it is fun. I do not think she has been since I have not seen a shot glass from there.

Just checking in- knew the 24th was coming up and wanted to send a hug to Kellie :grouphug: . You'll have lots of good thoughts coming your way tomorrow.
I can safely admit (and my DS posts on the Dis so I cannot lie) that I only ate 2 pieces of candy when I put the baskets together last night. :goodvibes I bought myself an entire bag of Hersheys Bliss (they are very good Freaps!) but I like to think I abstained from my boys baskets because I am just that good of a mom...:rotfl: .

Yeah, ok, if that's your story....

I had a LOT of candy, but managed to get rid of almost all of it, with the 240 egg hunt I held, plus Easter baskets, plus pinata for DS's birthday party. They are gonna be on a sugar buzz until Halloween. Tomorrow I go out and get the stuff that I like, got 2 Dove chocolate BOGO coupons that baby put on the freebie thread ...so at half price that will be a great deal if they have any Dove eggs left. I didn't save any of the Reese's eggs for me, so I am lookin' for those, too.

I still have bargain priced truffles left from Christmas clearance. I should just throw them out, but they are really good, just too rich. Can't just eat one like a candy bar!!

Kellie....One more hug  before I tune out for the night. I am so looking forward to John emailing me. You can tell him that I will be checking in all day, and that when he gets time to send an email, that will be great. I really don't expect to hear from him tomorrow, he will have so much to do with you and then he will be exhausted.... but if I do hear from him tomorrow.....great!!

We love you Kellie-maybe a little weird, but we do...so you take care and we will be thinking about you and holding good thoughts..:goodvibes

Kellie here is a huge group :grouphug: We will miss you tomorrow...:flower3:

After a busy day today I am off to bed. Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

Sending all the good wishes and vibes I can reach toyou Kellie, you are in my prayers :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes I will think good thoughts to/for you all day tomorrow.

:hippie: :grouphug:

(PS: I am rubbing Luna the Cats belly tonight for extra "Good Kharma" to send your way, he gets really snarky when you rub it but it but its so cute and fuzzy and round, sometimes I can't help myself , its kinda like a Budha belly rub thing.)

I have to be there by 5:45am.:scared1: I told John I am going in my pjs. They are starting things at 6:15am. They said I should be out between 3 and 4. Then a couple of hours in recovery so we most likely will not get home until about 7 or 8 I think. I feel bad for John it is going to be a long day for him.I told him to go home but he said no he needs to be there.
Those of us who are so far away will be waiting around here for you when you are feeling up to checking in. You carry our best hopes and wishes with you tomorrow! :wizard:

I hope everyone is getting all their easter prep done. I have been a busy little bee today. So what is everyone doing for Easter.

Here is a cute little animal hopefully to bring back spring to my house it is so windy and cold today.:sad2:

We don't do traditional Easter stuff but DH got a wild hair and wanted to go to church today....I told him he owes me! DS came home from college to bring some stuff home before school is out in May....that was short notice and the weekend got crazy and flew by. I sure do miss my baby when he has to head back to school. I have no idea how I am going to handle it when both of the boys are in college....!

Have a good week, everyone.

I know when my DD goes off I am going to ball my eyes out. We do not do the traditional easter. It is more of a family gathering time for us.

Good Monday morning Freaps! I'm sitting here with a chocolate/too much family time hangover. We visited DH's family Saturday and mine yesterday so I'm glad to be home with just the kids. DH is out of town most of the week so I'll be o.d.'ing on Reese eggs and Happy Meals the next couple of days.:lmao: I hope we hear from Kellie's DH later today so we don't all worry all week. I bet she'll be on here to give us the details as soon as she feels up to it though. Madd-I've never heard of the J & H pub but it sounds like my kind of place(of course anything with the word "pub" in it is my kind of place:rotfl2: :drinking1 ).

DH told me to cut down on buying chocolates so we can both try to loose weight this summer......ah, but that is so difficult now that the Easter candy will be marked down. :rolleyes1

I am feeling so tired today....I think I feel like some of the rest of you that I need a quiet break and I am happy to send everyone back to their regular schedule to get it.

I agree, I think Kellie will be here soon to report and keep us from worrying too much. :surfweb:

If I remember correctly, she is not expected to be out till 3-4 o'clock and then it will depend on how she does with anesthesia of course. I think Tinkerbean is going to be posting an update when they get home. She has been on my mind several times today. I hope all went better than expected! They really deserve a break after the last several weeks!!! :headache:

mtblujeans-I don't know why but I am so exhausted too. I just can't seem to drum up any enthusiasm for anything today.:sad2: Anything except eating too much junk and surfing the web,:surfweb: that is. I have a entire couch covered with laundry in desperate need of folding, but knowing DH won't be home until Wed. kind of takes away any house cleaning urge I might have had. Who's to know if I do absolutely nothing the next two days? The kids don't care and for them, Happy Meals are a huge treat that they only get a couple times a year so they are content and I won't even have to cook supper.

I think that John is going to email HRH...I was supposed to go in and sit with John for a while - But I got sidelined with a sick kid...:confused3 I have been thinking about her all day.

Sounds to me like a lot of you are on a "downward sugar spiral":rotfl2:

Now I am feeling pretty good for a change! Except for the fact I have to drop off our tax stuff to the Acct after work. I know- I am a procrastinator.

Our acct charges us 150 bucks to prepare them! I have a little side business, therefore I like to just hand everything over to her. DH and I are very lazy- Our philosophy is, we would rather pay someone for less aggravation on our lives :rotfl2:

I stopped the business in January- so we can just do things on our own next year.

Hi Freaps..just wanted to drop in to let you know that I have not heard from John yet. I don't really know if he will check in tonight, but if he does I will post, of course...Right now at this precise moment my email InBox is EMPTY!!!! so I am just waiting patiently.....

Thanks for the update--

I usually figure in a few extra hours when someone is having surgery- Sometimes they start late- you have to factor in recovery time. If they are home, John is probably trying to help her get comfortable and settled in........

I wonder how long that surgery was supposed to take. If they got her checked in at 6-7ish...and not out of surgery until 3ish...do you know what time her surgery was scheduled?

Well, dinner is coming out of a box tonight, so I guess I will check on it. You know how carefully you have to prepare these gourmet meals...

later...............
