It is Monday. I have to be there by 5:45am. John will be there and I think my brother will stop in to see him. Then Shaunna is at school right up the street so after classes she will be around. I have to go int the first B&W building. It is number 75 Francis st.
I am glad it is day surgery. I need to be home. I do better at home. The day surgery area is down stairs some where. I know when you go in that building the gift shop is on the right then the evelator is there and off I go.

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday....this week has gotten hectic! Thank you for all the welcomes! :goodvibes It is good to be back!

Kellie, Monday is the day, eh? I'll have to read back and see how much servicing you're having done. If they stuck with the 'day surgery' can I assume they are still removing individual tumors? Will they get all of them at once?

I don't have any more Montana snow pictures. Spring has sprung and we are getting rain, too. Once things thaw out a little more...I will have plenty of mud to take pictures of!

In order not to start a fight on the Disney Families board, I'm going to vent to ya'll. Do any of you actually read or participate over there? Just today there are threads asking if a room at the GF is big enough for a family with 2 very small kids, what to do when your kid wants "everything" at the parks and does anyone else have a "spirited" child?:lmao: Let's see #1-if your family ain't comfy at the GF you are S.O.O.L #2-just say no! and #3-yes, but we just say he is an ornery little brat.:rotfl2: I'm sorry if any of you have posted on these. I just think it's kind of bizarre.:confused3 I admit I do not visit there often since I witnessed the thread where people would not let their child use a public restroom for fear of germs. Believe me, if you missed that one it was crazy.:dance3: Anywhoooo, back to your regularly scheduled Freap chat.:grouphug:

I always check out the family board. It makes me feel intellectually superior! :rotfl2: Some of those people are complete morons. I know it sounds mean, but some of them have to be making this stuff up. If they're not, I feel sorry for their kids.

I went over there out of curiosity, and I have to say that the thread that made me "STEP AWAY FROM THE BOARD" was the woman wanting to name her baby girl "Disney", and being hurt because her familiy was trying to talk her out of it...Lord, have mercy...

I read that, too. Why, oh why would you do that to your child???

I think I'm a little sensitive to the name issue because I have a name that no one can spell or pronounce. Why couldn't my parents have chosen Jessica or Amy like everyone else's parents did? :confused3

I wouldn't want to name my children extremely strange names, BUT coming from a family with VERY ordinary names, I did go outside the box a little for my children...just not THAT FAR! :rotfl2:

I can see naming your child "Walt" but "Disney"?:lmao: When I was in school everyone was named Michelle, Jennifer or James so I definately stuck out with the weird name. I chose different names for my kids but they are both just old-fashioned names that few people use any more.

I am home.:cool1:
I did everything I wanted to at work so I am good. I at least feel good knowing I have done what I could to make life easy for them.

I am glad that you were able to get all that done. I am sure they will want to give you a big on of these.

Try to have a wonderful weekend

Yes Monday is the day. They hope to be able to get everything at once. They have said there is a chance they will have to go back in. But at least the are up front about and told us it is a 50/50 shot. But I am okay with that. I have faith in the DR 'S.

I hope everyone is getting all their easter prep done. I have been a busy little bee today. So what is everyone doing for Easter.

Here is a cute little animal hopefully to bring back spring to my house it is so windy and cold today.:sad2:

Walt was her choice for a middle name if it's a boy..Jackson Walt...ehh..Disney as a girl's name( or even a boy's )just seems like setting that poor kid up for a life of ridicule. I know that everyone on these boards loves Disney, but I think that is a scewed vision of reality..Most people in the real world don't LOVE Disney, so when the kid tells others her name they are going to look at her like she has three heads. yeah, the mom thinks it's a really cute and neat name, but the kid is the one who has to live with it. Most people will not "get it"..She actually has supporters..Well, sure, why not, it's not THEIR kid..

And I have a perfectly BORING first name, and I am willing to live with it, considering some of the alternatives out there....like Disney...

I wanted to post a big thanks to all my freaps.
I wanted you all to know how much you mean to me. I will never be able to repay you for all the kindness and support you have given me.
It is strange to think how I have never meet any of you and I feel like I have. So as I go thru the surgery and my treatments I know you are there. Thanks for the laughs and love. You guys are all great.

I :worship: all of you.
So I send you lots of
Kellie

I will be thinking about you on Monday and hoping John doesn't have too rough a time waiting for you. :flower3:

I won't be on-line that day as we will be out of town without a computer. I'll catch up on your news when I get on Tuesday night.

hadley,
I hope it is okay I stole your butterfly.
And on the name thing I stay with normal names. I Just spelled DD name in a diff. way. We spelled it diff. for her. Most spell Shawna or Shauna we went with Shaunna. But she is called ShayMaray.

You are certainly welcome to my butterfly! :lovestruc I hope all goes well for you on Monday! We'll be thinking of you! And BTW my name is Debra...that's what I meant by ordinary name! And my sisters were Sue and Pam! We always teased my parents that they looked up "MOST BORING NAMES" in the baby books when they had us! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wow, everyone must be stuffing their faces with their kids candy this morning! And maybe last night too..how much candy made it into the Easter baskets, folks?

Anyway, I will probably be MIA the rest of the day...I wanted to say LOVE:love: and HUGS:hug: to Kellie today...can't wait to get the email from John tomorrow telling us you are out of surgery and ok!! Do you know what time your surgery starts and how long it is supposed to take? Since it is "Day" srugery, I hope they at least keep you there most of the day to make sure everything is HunKy Dory before sending you home.

Wishing you lots of luck and pixie dust:wizard: tomorrow..You behave yourself at the hospital, now...:flower3:

I have to be there by 5:45am.:scared1: I told John I am going in my pjs. They are starting things at 6:15am. They said I should be out between 3 and 4. Then a couple of hours in recovery so we most likely will not get home until about 7 or 8 I think. I feel bad for John it is going to be a long day for him.I told him to go home but he said no he needs to be there.

You might as well go in your PJs they are going to make you put on one of their lovely robes anyway:laughing:

Kellie- wishing you all the luck in the world tomorrow and you will have a lot of people thinking about you!

Remember I will be there to provide entertainment for him...:rotfl: (hmmm now will that make the day seem longer -- he may just want to hide from me then).

Our family had Easter dinner yesterday- DH and I had a surprise party to go to, so we skipped dinner.

Not a big deal- DH and I do not celebrate Easter anyway. No candy for us. Hope everyone is having a good day.

This is so OT:rotfl2: But I am sitting here watching the Travel channel and they are doing a show about the World's Best Fast Food Stops.

Has anyone from NYC ever visited the McDonalds on Broadway it is a sit down restaurant with waiters!

I am going to NYC in a few weeks with some friends> I am going to see if they want to check it out.

We are doing lunch at Jekyll and Hyde Pub Has anyone ever been there??? Looks awesome!:thumbsup2
