FREAP CHAT Part 2 ~ Everyone Welcome to our new digs

Oh you guys... for everyone! I need an adult beverage after catching up over the last days worth of chatting! I can only say that I'm glad everyone is still here and accounted for and has a wonderful place like this to vent, share, and care! My family and I are good, but one day we may not be and I am happy to know that I would have a sounding board and support like this! I do have some kind of happy news to share though...remember the days of being 13 and feeling like a total ugly duckling? Well my daughter has really been feeling like that lately (she actually stayed home from school yesterday because she was so down and she NEVER misses school!) So I took her to the eye DR. today and got her contacts! She is on cloud 9 I am so happy to see her smiling and looking ahead! AND, while she was being taught how to put them in, I called and made her a hair appointment! I know it's silly, but I am glad that I remember those days and can help her through them.

That is NOT silly! I don't have a princess, but I think that is very sweet of you. Glad your DD feels more self confident, even though we all knew she was beautiful!

Awwww Thanks! I still remember that my mom used to let me stay home every once in awhile and she would take me to the mall and we would eat in some cute little quiche restaurant! And always get an orange julius on the way out! So hopefully it will work for my daughter, too! Memories are the one thing you can't replace, repair, or buy...at least that's my motto!

I think I got everyone It is so nice to have a group of people to sound off with - esp. when you really don't want to talk to family or friends IRL just yet for whatever reason. I have been looking at expanding on an existing job opportunity but do not want my 2nd job to know until I have an idea of what is going to happen but really need to chat about it. Most of my friends around here either work there already or gab too much to someone else who does, so I couldn't really talk to anyone about it. I came here and chatted with a couple of ya (thanks ) and really appreciate having that. We may grumble sometimes or pick a fight once in awhile but thats what real friends do. Thanks guys!!!

I hope everyone has a peaceful, relaxing, HAPPY, HEALTHY weekend. I think we all need to toss back a couple of our favorite adult beverages, sleep in a little, and spend some quality time with those we love.

today is a good day. I am going to go back to work on Monday and work hopfully all week. I do plan on leaving early on Friday. I alraedy told my boss I want to sneak out so there is no teary goodbyes.
I work with some that will cry big time when I leave and I am only going to be out a couple of weeks. I plan on working thru my treatments.

Just so you all know John is going to send an E-mail to HRH to update everyone on how things went and how I am do. Then she will post for you. I tried to get him to post it but he said no and kinda bacjed away from the laptop.
Let me say sorry know if he gets sappy.
