I received the TLC (the Last Cigarette) kit yesterday. Cool water bottle packed with stuff. I'm going to give it to a good friend who is trying to quit.

The Garden Harvest chips arrived!

The veggie ones were so so but the apple ones were great!

I got the veggie and banana- I like the veggie chips- but I was a little disturbed by the banana flavor.....NOT sure why?! I was JUST....... disturbed

The Overstock.com necklace arrived yesterday broken with pearls everywhere. I contacted them with "live chat" and they are mailing a free replacement today!!! They said no need to send the broken necklace back. Maybe I can figured out a way to tie/knot/string it into a bracelet or something.

I've never even received mine. But I used the Live Chat & they are going to do a trace & if they can't find ithem in 4 days they'll re-ship them for free. Hope I get them

Hey, has anyone heard anything from houseparty about the Scholastic party? I noticed there are some parties being set up already.

I just got my email about an hour ago. I set up the invited, posted photos, posted a blog. Then I got the confirmation email. So I am good to go!

I am guessing if you have not heard yet, then no news is bad news.

What a bummer, my 2 kids are avid readers. Perhaps I did not gush enough in the application. But please, my mom was a children's librarian, we have more bookcases than any other furniture, I read like a demon, and my son has every Henry and Mudge book on the planet (Mudge is a mastiff, so my son thinks they are books about our dog-I have already warned my DH that the next mastiff will be named Mudge if DS has any say). We are the bookwormiest family I know (in a cool way, not a geeky way, OF COURSE ) so I am in a state of mourning now.

But congrats to those of you who got in!!

The UPS man just dropped off our Disney costumes I had ordered. DH will be an (unwilling) Pirate Jack! They look very similar....well, except my DH has light hair and he weighs over 200 pounds....but, other than that.....very similar!

Got mine too! Guess I spoke too soon. I'm really excited about this one. The Cartoon Network one was so boring! Not that I'm complaining about any freebie, the cups & plates came in handy. The cartoon was terrible (IMHO) .

I finally checked the mail for the 1st time this week in the city. I recvd Tide 2X, something for comsumers and a nifty book from the Left Behind folks.

I wonder what is at the ranch. I am not going home this weekend. I am sick of the cost of fuel. So we are going to Boo at the Zoo. After MNSSHP it will seem very lame. There is pumpkin walk at a park near by, whatever that is? There is a house a few blocks down where he gets the news crews out each year. It looks great and can't wait to see when it is finished.

Mtblue, it is cold at the ranch and the snow is holding. I turned on the heat today in our apt for the first time. I just hope it really dumps and the Utah resorts open soon!

That is my update.

Oh yeah, I posted a bunch of freebies but I didn't check from when I was at Disney and most are repeats. I am such an ***

Nah....no body thinks that. We are just jealous that you got to go last week! What fun that you also fit in MNSSHP!! I've always wanted to do a holiday at one of the Parks!

We're supposed to be having temps in the 60's this weekend. DH is trying to build a shelter for the cattle before snow gets here for good.

What's the temperature in the rest of the country now? Is it still real hot everywhere but around these parts?
