FP+ ticket question

I am going to disney during the crazy time between Xmas and New Years (plus some time before and after - 13 days). It is the only time I can get vacation. While I would normally think it a waste of money and crazy idea, is it possible to buy 2 10-day tickets and get a total of 6 FP+ (3 for each ticket each day) or do the FP attached to the tickets only work if that ticket is scanned at the park entrance first (ie. you couldnt use the 3FP+ on the other park ticket because it wasn't used to enter the park, or will
It work even if it wasn't used until scanned at an attraction). Odd question, would cost an extra $400 but wondered since it is crazy busy that time of the year. (Or could you exit the park after you enter, switch MagicBands, and enter with that one so both tickets are used to enter and active).

So are you saying that right now (if they don't make the change) you can use FP's on a ticket that you didn't use to enter the park that day? In other words, if I have an old no expiration ticket, but I buy a new ticket, that I could enter the park with the new ticket but use FP's with the old one? And this would not count as a day used on the old ticket? Or am I misunderstanding you?
