FP+ questions... Really lost

Where is it on the site? I haven't been able to find it.

If that is the case, that's a MAJOR change, and really sucky.

There are LOTS of things in this document which are pretty ugly as written. VERY ugly as written. The only way to currently access the full document is via the My Experience App, Legal, Disney Experience Terms of Use.'

Here's the full document.

DISNEY PARK EXPERIENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the My Disney Experience Website or the My Disney Experience Mobile Application (collectively referred to as the "Site/App") for the Disney Park experience (the "Park Experience" or "Experience"). The Park Experience is designed to transform your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and other operations within the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts business segment, which may participate in the Experience from time to time (each a "Resort"), into an immersive, personalized and seamless experience. The Site/App is your digital guide to the magic of exciting benefits and features that the Park Experience has to offer. The Park Experience is operated by the group of companies within the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts business segment of The Walt Disney Company ("Parks and Resorts Businesses," "we," "us" or "our"). As we add more exciting features and make updates to the Park Experience, you can go to the Help Center of the Site/App for more information and frequently asked questions, which will continue to be updated as these features become available.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.

These terms and conditions ("Experience Terms") govern your participation in the Park Experience, and your use of the Site/App. Not all Experience benefits and features are available to all guests, and access to many benefits and features requires the purchase of eligible park admission, a stay at select Resort hotels, and/or a valid Disney website account and registration on the Site/App.

By using the Site/App or by clicking a box that states that you accept or agree to the Experience Terms, you signify your agreement to the Experience Terms for yourself and for all persons (including minors) for whom you are purchasing or otherwise securing Park Experience benefits and/or managing a Site/App account (your "Experience Party"). You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to agree to the Experience Terms on behalf of your Experience Party. If you do not agree to these Experience Terms, you may not participate in the Park Experience or use the Site/App. These Experience Terms apply in addition to, and not in lieu of, the Website Terms of Use of the Site/App. In the event these Terms directly conflict with the Website Terms of Use, these Experience Terms will prevail.

YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO US.

To provide you with the features and benefits of the Park Experience, we need to collect information from you through our Site/App, and through your experience at our Resorts. Please review our Site/App Privacy Policy and the Park Experience Privacy FAQs of the Site/App for details regarding the use of your information.

SITE/APP REGISTRATION AND PROFILE:
To take advantage of all that the Park Experience has to offer and access certain features of the Experience, you will need to be signed in to your Disney account and registered and signed in to the Site/App.
As explained in more detail throughout these Experience Terms, many features of the Park Experience and functions on the Site/App are only available to guests 18 and over. Guests 13-17 may register and access certain features of the Experience and the Site/App. Children under 13 are not currently permitted to register on the Site/App, and they may only participate in the Experience as a member of the Experience Party of a guest 13 or older.
Our Site/App provides you with a convenient Profile dashboard ("Profile") for accessing your registered account information and many of the Experience features available to you. For example, you can update your contact information and manage your account settings. The Profile page is provided for your convenience and is not made available to your Friends. (See the "Family and Friends" section of these Experience Terms).

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
The Family and Friends feature is a convenient tool for planning and managing your Resort visit with other guests. You and your family and friends can assign Park Experience benefits to one another, share itineraries and plan activities together.
To use this feature, you will need to sign in to your Disney account and create a list of "Managed Friends" and/or "Connected Friends." When we use the term "Friends," we are referring to Managed Friends and Connected Friends collectively. When we use the term "Friend List," we are referring only to the list of the names and/or character photos of your Friends.
Names and character photos of guests are not private and may be visible to Friends and to Friends of Friends who share common activities with you. You may remove Friends from your account at any time.
Managed Friends are guests with Profiles you create and manage on their behalf, such as people in your Experience Party who do not create their own Site/App account or those who are not eligible to do so (for example, children under 13). The names of guests you identify as part of your Experience Party when booking certain benefits (such as dining reservations) through the Site/App are automatically added to your account as Managed Friends.
You are completely in control of your Managed Friends' Profiles and the information you provide regarding your Managed Friends. You also decide whether others may become Connected Friends with your Managed Friends through your account.
Connected Friends are guests whose Profiles are not controlled by you, but who agree to "connect" with you for purposes of planning Resort visits with you. These guests either have their own Site/App account, or have a Profile that is managed by another guest who has authorized the connection.
You can invite guests to connect with you only if you know their email address or if you see them on the Friend List of one of your Connected Friends. If you do not want to share your Friend List, you can go to your Account Settings and disable the "Share Friend List" feature. Keep in mind that names and character photos are not private and may still be visible to Friends and to Friends of Friends who share common itinerary items with you, even when the "Share Friend List" feature is disabled.
The Family and Friends feature allows you to assign Experience benefits you've purchased to your Friends (such as ticket entitlements) and plan activities for them (such as Disney FastPass+ selections and dining reservations). Your Connected Friends may also plan activities for you and view your entitlements and activities. You may choose whether your Connected Friends can see all of your activities, or only activities that you have in common with them.
You may visit the Site/App to view activities your Connected Friends have selected for you, and you may choose not to participate in these activities. However, FastPass+ selections made for you by your Connected Friends will count against the number of FastPass+ selections you may hold, and are subject to modification restrictions and expiration rules. Please see the "Disney FastPass+ Service" section of these Experience Terms for details.
You acknowledge that, by sending and/or accepting an invitation to become Connected Friends, you authorize your Connected Friends to plan activities for you, including making FastPass+ selections for you without notice to you.

RADIO FREQUENCY CARDS AND OTHER DEVICES
In order to deliver the seamless and personalized experience of the Park Experience, we utilize radio frequency technology-enabled cards or other devices ("RF Devices"). Depending on the Experience benefits you have purchased, you and each member of your Experience Party will be issued a unique RF Device (similar to a Key to the World card), which allows us to identify the individual using the RF Device and the benefits associated with that individual.
Your RF Device is the key to unlocking your Resort experience, providing you entry to the parks and guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels access to their room. They will also be used to redeem your Disney FastPass+ selections. In addition, as described in the "Online Check-in Service" section of these Experience Terms, guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will have the option to use their RF Device to make purchases at various dining, retail and other select locations throughout the Resort.
The RF Devices use technology similar to the radio and computer technology in smart phones, video game controllers, credit cards and "easy pass" toll payment systems. Many of the features enabled by your RF Device will be accessed by "touching" your RF Device to touch points located throughout our Resorts. (For security purposes, you may also be required to provide additional authentication information to enable certain functions, such as a biometric read or PIN.) Other features are triggered automatically when readers located throughout the Resort recognize your RF Device when you are within the vicinity of the readers.
If you have a medical device and have questions about your medical device and RF technology, we encourage you to seek the guidance of the manufacturer of your device and your physician.
RF Devices are not transferable. We are not responsible for any unauthorized use of RF Devices. If your RF Device is lost or stolen, contact Guest Services at 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639).

LINK AN EXISTING RESERVATION
Once available, you may use the "Link an existing reservation" feature to find and link existing dining reservations and Resort room or package reservations, which include stays at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, to your account. To link your reservations, you must be logged into your account. You must be 18 years of age or older to link Resort room or package reservations.
Certain reservations booked online will automatically appear in your account; however, your reservation information might not appear immediately after booking. If your reservation information does not appear within 24 hours of booking, then you may have to use this feature to add it manually.

ONLINE CHECK-IN SERVICE
Once available, to use the online check-in service, you need to be at least 18 years old, and will need the reservation confirmation number, last name on the reservation, arrival date and name of the Resort hotel.
The online-check-in service is only available for guests with reservations at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The online check-in service allows you to provide a credit card to be used for room and incidental charges (such as food and merchandise), rental fees and other miscellaneous charges during your stay. The credit card that you provide during online check-in will be associated with your RF Device and will be used to make touch to pay purchases, as discussed above in "Radio Frequency Cards and Other Devices".
You can always change the credit card that is associated with your RF Device (that you use for room, incidentals, rental fees and other miscellaneous charges) at the front desk of your Resort hotel.
Using your RF Device to touch to pay at designated Resort locations will create a charge to your Resort room folio, which will be settled to your credit card provided during online check-in or check-in at the front desk of the hotel. When making purchases using your RF Device, you may be required to enter a personal identification number (PIN) to verify your identity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN. You should not share your PIN with anyone. If you share your PIN with other people, you are fully responsible for their actions. You must inform us immediately if there is any reason to believe that your PIN has, or is likely to, become known to someone other than you or is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized way.
Guests ages 10 years and older on your reservation will automatically be given charging privileges. Charging privileges can be changed at the front desk of your Resort hotel.
You will be required to accept the Online Check-in Service Terms and Conditions when using this service, which you can view and print prior to completing the online check-in process. Those Terms and Conditions will also be provided to you in a confirmation email sent to you after you complete online check-in.

STORING A CREDIT CARD TO YOUR PROFILE
Once available, you have the ability to store a credit card in your Profile. You can use this credit card to make certain online purchases, including Resort room reservations, tickets, and dining reservations (for those locations that require credit card guarantees or prepayments). This credit card may be, but is not necessarily, the same credit card you may provide during online check-in or at the front desk for room charges and incidentals. Your Site/App Profile credit card is not associated with and used for the touch to pay purchases you make with your RF Device.
You must sign in to your account in order to add or edit your credit card information. You can remove or edit your stored credit card information at any time.
For your convenience, your credit card information will be stored in your account indefinitely until you change or remove it.

VACATION NOTIFICATIONS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS
The Site/App enables you to receive important messages regarding your visit in one convenient online location.
As a benefit of participating in the Park Experience, you may also choose to receive special email and text message alerts during your Resort visit, such as itinerary updates, notice of photo availability, and personalized on-site tips and offers (collectively, "Vacation Notifications"). If you use our Mobile Application, you may also sign up to receive Vacation Notifications through "push" messages on your mobile phone. You may sign in to your account and visit the Vacation Notifications page to sign up to receive messages. Your most recent preferences will remain active with your account and will be applied to subsequent Resort visits associated with your account. You may sign in to your account and change your Vacation Notifications preferences at any time.
Your Vacation Notifications preferences will only apply to the communications listed on the Vacation Notifications preference page. They will not affect other communications from us (such as transaction confirmations) or from other members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies. For information on how you can modify other communications permissions you may have provided for members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies, please see the "Your Controls and Choices" section of our Privacy Policy.
Please keep in mind that Vacation Notifications sent via email may only be delivered to the email address associated with your account.
Special terms and conditions apply to Vacation Notifications sent via text message. Guests under 18 must have the permission of their parent or legal guardian to sign up to receive text message notifications. Message and data rates may apply.

Disney FastPass+ Service
Once available, Disney FastPass+ service allows you to select an arrival window to experience certain park attractions, character meet and greets, and quick-service restaurants, and to arrange a viewing location for certain entertainment such as fireworks, parades and shows.
Availability of a FastPass+ experience, the number of experiences you may select and arrival windows are limited and vary based on factors such as the theme park you are visiting, the attraction or entertainment experience, the time of year and the day of the week, and prior demand. In addition, the number of days for which you can hold FastPass+ selections at any given time is limited.
Each confirmed FastPass+ attraction, entertainment or restaurant selection is valid for (1) guest admission to the entrance of the designated FastPass+ location on the date and during the arrival window confirmed by the Site/App.
The operating hours of all attractions, entertainment and restaurant locations are subject to closures and change without notice.
You may make FastPass+ selections for yourself, your Managed Friends, and your Connected Friends.
Your Connected Friends may also make FastPass+ selections for you or modify the selections you've made without notification to you. You can view the selections and modifications made by Connected Friends for you when you log in to your account and view your itinerary.
FastPass+ selections made for you by a Friend will count toward the number of FastPass+ selections you may make and hold.
A confirmed FastPass+ selection is not valid for admission to any theme or water park and valid park admission is required to make a selection and redeem a FastPass+ selection. To make a FastPass+ selection for you or your Friends, you must retrieve a Resort package reservation including valid park admission through your account or associate valid park admission to your account.
Each FastPass+ selection will designate an arrival window for an attraction, restaurant location or entertainment experience. The FastPass+ selection is not valid before or after the designated arrival window or at any other FastPass+ location.
You may make FastPass+ selections for one park per day. You may only select and redeem a FastPass+ selection for a particular attraction, entertainment or restaurant experience once per day.
When you initially make FastPass+ selections for a particular park, you will select a FastPass+ experience set and if your plans change, you may modify the entire FastPass+ experience set until the first FastPass+ experience is redeemed or the first unredeemed experience expires. You may modify an unredeemed individual FastPass+ experience any time prior to the end the day.
All FastPass+ selections, whether arranged by you or a Connected Friend, expire at the end of the day for which they were confirmed. Unused and expired selections count toward the FastPass+ experience limit for the day.
Magic Your Way ticket holders may make FastPass+ selections beginning 60 days prior to day of use. The selection window may vary for other admission tickets or passholders.
Ticket holders holding passes or tickets with block-out dates may not make FastPass+ selections for any block-out date without the purchase of separate valid park admission and assigning that admission entitlement to your account.
We reserve the right to re-assign or re-schedule a FastPass+ selection due to an unplanned attraction or entertainment down time or change in operating hours.
Other restrictions and rules may apply based on type of park admission. FastPass+ experiences are not transferable, have no cash value and may not be substituted.

DINING
You must register and sign in to your account to arrange dining experiences online.
Guest policies for the dining experience, including credit card guarantee requirements and cancellation policies, apply. The policies are located in the description of the dining experience and we encourage you to review them carefully. For credit card guarantees or for payment of a dinner show or other pre-paid dining experience, we'll charge the credit card you stored in your account, unless you provide us with a new form of payment at the time you arrange your dining experience.
Guests who purchase packages with dining plans are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate dining plan entitlements for the dining experience or another form of payment will be required.
A FastPass+ selection for dining at a FastPass+ designated table service or quick service location secures your arrival window and allows you to order meal prior to your arrival window. Each guest who has ordered ahead must have a FastPass+ selection for the same arrival time and location confirmed by the Site/App.

CONVERTING TO PAPERLESS TICKETS
Once available, you may convert certain paper tickets or passes to a paperless ticket or pass in the Site/App. Once converted, your ticket or pass park admission entitlements are stored in your account and fulfilled by an RF Device. The paper ticket or pass becomes void and is no longer valid for admission. However, you may want to keep your paper ticket or pass in the event you do not receive your RF Device before your visit or if you are a passholder you should keep your paper pass for validation of other passholder benefits.
You are required to convert paper tickets and passes in order to make and use FastPass+ selections. Once you convert a ticket or pass you will no longer be able to participate in the standard FASTPASS service upon arrival at the parks.
You may convert up to five valid unexpired paper tickets or passes for yourself and for your Friends.
Partially used tickets or passes must be matched to the same person who originally used the ticket or pass. Tickets and passes are non-transferrable and must be used by the same person on all days.
Proof of age and residency requirements and all other terms and conditions applicable to the paper ticket or pass will be applicable to the converted paperless ticket or pass.

RESORT MAPS
The Site/App provides you with maps of the Resort. You may also receive directions to various destinations in our Resort when you use the Mobile Application and allow the Mobile Application to access your location.
Your use of the Resort Maps is also governed by the Google Maps Terms and privacy policy.

GENERAL PROVISIONS
You agree that any claim, action or lawsuit (collectively, "Action") arising out of these Experience Terms, reservations and bookings, and/or all packages, products and services provided in connection with the reservations and bookings (including without limitation, components such as park admissions, RF Devices, Disney FastPass+ entitlements, photos and other media, and room accommodations) (collectively, "Terms, Reservations and Products") must be filed and maintained exclusively in any court in Orange County, Florida having subject matter jurisdiction. You also hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such Action. You agree these Terms, Reservations and Products shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

DISCLAIMER/MODIFICATIONS
As the Park Experience will evolve over time, there may be periods during which certain Experience benefits and features are made available on a limited basis to a select audience. Availability of Experience benefits and features is subject to change without notice. At any time, we may amend these Experience Terms (including by modification, deletion and/or addition of any portion thereof). If we make a material amendment to these Experience Terms, we will notify you of such amendment by sending you an e-mail to the last e-mail address associated with your account, by sending you a message in your account, and/or by posting notice of such amendment on the Site/App by including a notation next to the link to these Experience Terms that states "Updated as of [applicable date]." Any such amendment to these Experience Terms will be effective as of the date the modified or replacement Experience Terms are posted to the Site/App, and such modified or replacement Experience Terms will govern your use of the Site/App on and after the date the modified or replacement Experience Terms are posted.

Please note sections regarding:

- the # of FP+ experiences may vary by date, resort staying at, time of year, previous demand.. basically any reason at all they wish to 'vary' the amount.
- Definitely phasing out existing FP.
- Who the heck wants to book rides 60 days out? I can't even book MEALS 14 days out!

I don't see it saying anything about it being by resort - but only that it may vary by various factors, which COULD be resort, phase of the moon, Iger's mood, etc.

Nor do I see it saying FP is going away...but it it does appear to be the first sign of the harbinger...

Yes, I am not excited about these potential changes at all. I have no desire to be "funneled" towards rides and attractions Disney thinks I should be experiencing, versus being able to do what I actually want to do.

I will not be using FP+ until I'm forced to when they inevitably phase out regular FP. At that time, I may have to reconsider how often I visit WDW. :(

Oh! And if we want to park hop??? It says we can only use FP+ at one park per day...but also that you can't use regular FP anywhere once you have used FP+.

SO, now I use FP+ at MK in the morning, decide to hop to Epcot for the evening, but then am left with ONLY standby as my option for rides?!?!?!

As I said before, not cool Disney...

I'm worried that the rules will be different for pass holders vs MYW ticket holders that make it tough for my group to plan our trips together!

Here's hoping it rolls out after my next trip or they give clear directions far enough in advance we can make it work!

Hate the whole idea. We tend to pick our park day of...not before!

We will all eventually succumb by logging in at 60 days just to grab a TSM FP. And then we will build around the one event.

I can also see a lot of people grabbing FP for the big rides, but then never making it to the ride. It is like a fake perk, an illusion. Maybe we should call it Fake Pass and then add a plus to make it sound better. People can gobble those Fake Passes + up like candy. Yummy.

Well reading all of that and trying to visualize the confusion and kinks that are going to need to be worked out makes me want to rock in a corner.

Think about the potential for error here. Think about how completely bewildered the average guest is going to be. I envision months and months of people being frustrated and completely confused once this all rolls out.

We planned on not renewing our AP's and taking some other trips in the next year or two. I think that is a very good plan while this all shakes out. Maybe we'll come back once the dust settles.

Not to be insensitive to your distress, but that cracked me up!

Actually my family would be fine with booking rides 60 days out. In fact knowing I could show up at a certain time and actually ride with little or no wait would be fantastic and I think that is what Disney is counting on.

We book all our meals at 180 days out, rides at 60 would be easy.

Next there will be a $10 credit card fee if you don't show up to ride? Totally kidding but it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe regular fast pass will be a fee to add on once you buy your tickets. You get 4 or 5 fast pass+ for free and then purchase an upgrade for regular fast pass. This could get ugly quick.

I'm in the midst of planning a trip for my family - DH & I, DD, and my parents. In discussing the trip with my parents, they were overwhelmed with the idea of booking ADRs. I was asking very basic questions (what kind of food do you like, should I avoid the more ethnic eateries, etc) - and even just those simple questions were getting me the answers of "I don't know what I'll want to eat 4-5 months from now".

I seriously can't imagine trying to get them to understand having to book the actual rides 60 days out.

Really why is everyone having a hard time with this... I'm sorry but this is a no brainer on the win side, I can sit in my living room and pick rides that I know I want to go on, on certain days talk about a win so if I wa.t to go on splash mountain and space mountain, I can already have fp to do this before getting to the park so now cross crossing the park rushing to get fast pass for one and then heading to the other side to wait in line....

If you enjoy the idea of being limited to having FPs in one park per day, and only one FP ride on each attraction, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it... But I wouldn't call it a "no brainer".

Agree. Also where is the fun and spontaneous adventure in planning a ride 60 days out? Does not sound fun to me at all. Who wants to plan their vacation down to the ride times?

I don't even like to make too many ADRs bc I feel like I have to rush everywhere... Ugh I like to take my time and decide what I feel like doing when I get there. I love FP as it is.

Except you then can't park hop and get any FPs at a different park, you might be limited to only a few FP+ depend on Disney's mood, so you might be able to pick Space Mountain, BTM and Dumbo, but not Splash Mountain, etc.

When you consider how many fast passes a person can legitimately get and use in a course of a day there are going to be rides you have to.go standby, which is usually the case anyways....but and If you park hop then you do standby, because when its all said and done you would still have fp for every park....
