WOOHOO!!! I think I finally fixed the problems I've been having on here. I was messing around on here earlier and I changed the background colors and now it works much better. It's actually faster and I can post in color again. .

What background did you make it? 1 month, 4 weeks and 2 days... It does sound nicer than saying 2 months. I don't know where you said about skipping Sea World...but as much as I enjoyed it, I think you are wise to chill some and have down time. Plus you won't have to rush Universal since you can go back on your tickets. You don't want to feel like you need a vacation when you get home.

We had snow flurries this afternoon. I ate with some retired teachers and some who are close to it. We all yelled 2 hour delay when we saw the snow.

There you are! I'm using the Universal color option now. It is working much better. It sure isn't taking as long to load anymore.

I like the light blue...I had Disney cruise line on before. I changed it and hit the reply icon and the other background came on. Do you have to change every page?
It flurried several times---not for very long. The sky had strange dark areas too. And of course wind. I was sitting in Patrick waiting for my friend to come out of a store and I felt him sway...thought I should have taken sea sick pills.

Well, the flowers are starting to come up. My hyacinths are blooming. I think my daffodil bulbs were eaten. I think I saw a tulip or it could be a lily? Something's there anyway. The grass is getting greener. So spring is just taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back right now. It'll get warmer someday!

I suppose you're right. It really does seem to be taking so long for spring to get here. Right now, it's sunny here but there are dark clouds out there too.

The sky looked strange yesterday. It was mostly cloudy but sometimes there were very dark areas. You really could not see it was a separate cloud but just a lot darker. I wish I would have had my camera.
HersheyPark is open this weekedn but they are calling for rain and it sounds too cold. I doubt they'll have many rides going. I'm not going.
I've been on the computer all morning...I did my NASCAR picks even though no race this weekend...really need to get moving...chat later.

Dumb question---on the community board thread list, I have a check to the right of this thread's title. That's because I've subscribed to it. Now I see little blue luggage tag looking icons beside some.

The blue icon thing is a tag for the thread. Here's the explanation from Webmaster Alex....

"The tags thing is really cool, if you add tags to a new thread (only the original poster can do it) you can search on them. Once people start doing it we will be able to search on them in addition to regular search"

I suppose if you have a really long thread filled with recipes or something like that, it would come in handy just to be able to search in that thread. Like if you know there is a certain chicken recipe that you saw in that thread but you don't want to scroll through the whole thing, you can just somehow search chicken recipe in that thread.

I haven't tried it myself but I'm guessing that's the way it works.

My daffodils are blooming, and my ?narcissus? (looks like white daffodils w/ yellow centers) have just started. My iris have poked up, but won't bloom for a while (actually, they never bloom, something bites the tips off and leaves them on teh ground.) I have one random tulip courtesy of the previous owner that pops up in the middle of my yard, and that's up, but no bud. And, I've noticed the crop of daylilies along my road is starting to peak. So, could be a tulip or a daylily. Sorry, just random spouting about flowers... it makes me feel more springy.

Ok, I have some thrilling news... I wore my "skinny" jeans!!! I'm still nowhere near back to my pre-pregnancy form... I'm pretty sure my tummy will never look the same... but I wore them, and they fit, and I sat comfortably in them for several hours. (Even if I did have a bit of a "muffin top." But, that was well covered w/ my shirt, not like I'm showing off my midriff anymore! - Never did much anyway...) Maybe I should celebrate w/ a big bowl of ice cream...

Thank you D&DD for inquiring about Sukie, she is doing fine. She is working 10 hour days and finds herself falling asleep in the recliner by 6:30PM/7:00PM every evening. We were able to get out last weekend and do some shopping in Concord, NH which has a small Mall, Target, Wal-mart and other assorted stores. We hit Ruby Tuesdays for lunch and found ourselves enjoying a Ruby Relaxer. Vodka, peach shnapps, coconut rum, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and a slice of orange pulled it all together into a wonderfully tasty little beverage.(Don't tell anyone but we ate lunch at 11:00AM; it's five o'clock somewhere, right?)

DL55, I had to sit in my house in a tshirt, sweatshirt, sweat jacket and fleece pants and you come on here and tell me it's 82 out there. That wasn't very nice.

lighttech skinny jeans I still have a couple of those I just can't get rid of. I take them out every now and then, shed a tear, and then pack them back away.

Not sure what our temperature got up to but I did see my first hummingbird outside. He flew by the window looking in like "HEY! Where's my feeder?" Must mean spring is really on the way!
