Hey LITC---I got some great pics of your house while at MK. The clouds were beautiful. I want to try and upload some when I have more time. It's taking forever to post tonight.

OK Racer---talk about the race. Of all times for me not to pick Jeffie. So much for going with the odds. Why did he pick this week to win his first race there?

LITC, is the dis working slow again. It feels like it's forever to get the page to load again. It is really starting to drive me crazy.

I have to agree with you about the work thing. That's exactly how it is.

M&N, I have nothing to say about Kyle. He's been driving stupid lately. Did you happen to see the truck race last week when he tried to fix a tire rub by driving against the wall? And then he gets mad and walks off the track? Time to chill a little.

I didn't expect Jeffie to win this week. Heck, it was one of 2 tracks he hasn't won at. Figured he was jinxed.

Sorry to chat and run ladies, but I gotta get some zzzz's. I slept horrible last night and I was dragging all day. Talk to you tomorrow!

I thought it was me...it's a little better now. I signed off and started again because it took over 45 sec for it to start letting me reply.
Of course why should we bother? Will we get kicked off if we mention God here? I think I already did. I'll try and not talk politics but it's hard to leave God out of things. :goodvibes

Glad it's just not me having problems tonight....again. :rolleyes1

Night LITC!!!! Catch ya later!

M&N, what post had something about God? Let me go report it. I think that's what started this whole thing. People starting stuff and then getting all bent out of shape when things didn't go the way they wanted it to. And then reporting everyone else for a personal attack. I thought we were all grown ups? Ok, maybe not me but most others. :lmao:

I'm not doing a real tr but there are some things I want to tell my friends here. I'll do it by parks I think. I want to get some pics up too. It's a great time to go although my friends said it was busy. It sure didn't seem like it was slow enough to lay off 1400. I thing they are just using the economy to lay off so they can make more money.
I did want to comment on less cm's. We noticed Beauty and the Beast had less cms. There weren't as many extras...especially noticed in the scene when they sing Be our guest and they have food, etc running around. But then again, MK has a new parade so need cms for that.

Well, I did see one with a Psalm verse in the title and some were about celebrating Easter and what to wear to church...Isn't that going a little too close to the line? :confused3;)

Technically, it's spring break time so I guess crowds would be picking up going into Easter.

Technically, according to the "rules", you cannot argue politics or religion. It's a very confusing rule to me. I think they would have been better at starting a debate board and just letting them fight it out there. And IMO, if they had one set of rules for "everybody" that might have helped too.

See, now I have no idea what you are talking when it comes to this basketball stuff.

On another sports note...poor mom. Her Phillies lost their opener.

Good Morning! I got a call to sub today...said no. They called at 7:05. I would have to be there at 8 and it's a 10 min drive. No way could I have been ready. I was watching tv but no hair done or lunch packed. Oh well. They are supposed to call in by 6:30 I think. She must have had an emergency but...I do feel bad because they do request me but after all, I cannot sit around waiting for a call.

Morning all:

Good rainy afternoon everyone! I was going to complain about my crappy weather, but then I read about Ev's snow, and I am humbled..
Ok...having a mental moment...what did Ev burn? I can't figure it out...with the four stars...but it must be good since everyone is advising Ev's husband to get involved! Take care of that burn!

It's still snowing...just lightly but man o man it's been a long winter. It's not that unusual to get a little snow in April but two days..:sad2: they say it will be all gone by the end of the week.

Burn is much better thanks...blisters are starting to go down...I suggested to DH to rub aloe on it and he looked at me like I was nuts...guess we've been married too long!! :rotfl:

well, DUH, I figured it out. (I think). Are we talking about Ev's BOB with an extra O in the middle? Really, you can't say that on the Dis?

"Bob"...I like it ...wonder if you can say breast??

WHAT??? Oh yea, Canada...two words...MOVE SOUTH! :rotfl:

I think I would cry if it was still cold and snowing.

I'm thinking Barbados, Bahamas, Caymans.

Surely you jest...:lmao::lmao:

:lmao: Married too long????? I've been married 17 years and I think my DH would have proposed the idea himself. In fact, I think he'd be standing there with aloe in hand when I got home. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

M&N - I'm with you on not taking the sub assignment this morning. Definitely not enough time to get yourself together and over there. :coffee:

Has anyone heard from Sukie lately? Is she on vacation?

Hi, Kitty, Racetrack, LITC, Pepper & Whgrn

Well, I couldn't resist getting in on the BOB topic. I even went so far as to check the Thesaurus to recommend what might be an alternative word to sneak by the DIS filtere but they did not even recognize the word bob+o, well at least not in the manner we are speaking of. I guess I have been in the country and around animals too long.... you could always call it your teat. :lmao:

That one really brings back memories... When we went to Disneyland back in November we had another family traveling with us which consisted of DS's female friend, her sister and father. One day we were having lunch and he had dropped some food on his bob+o. I mentioned it to him but when I did I told him he had something on his teat. I have never in my life seen a man's face turn so flaming red! He was so embarrassed. We had a good laugh at his expense.... believe me nothing that he wouldn't have done to us! :sad2: Anyway....

We had another freeze here last night. Crazy weather. I hope it all clears out by Easter so we can make the big Easter egg hunt at DSIL's. Yee-haw. NOT! DH, DS and I all dread having to go see his family but it's fun for DD and "means so much to his sister". Yeah, right. We go down there and end up sitting amongst ourselves while everyone else is talking to the same family members they always talk to. As for my side... there are sometimes advantages to not having much family left! I've only got one sister left and we do not get together for anything anymore. Dysfunctional, yep but it's how we work best.

Well, I've missed popping in but there are just not enough hours in the day! Like right now, I really should be doing something else but here I sit... a least for a few more moments.

Okay, got a new WDW question.....
At DL the fireworks get canceled pretty often due to high winds. Does this happen very often at WDW? In DL the common tip is to NOT wait until your last day to see those types of shows so you have more than once chance of seeing them should they get canceled. However, for WDW I've read several recommendations of ending your trip with something special like one of the shows. So what do ya'll really think is the best strategy?

Gotta run! Everyone have a safe and very blessed day!

BKMETV So glad Bob+o is feeling better. :rotfl2:
mariezp I suspect DL fireworks get canceled more often because they're surrounded by other businesses and homes. WDW owns all the land around the fireworks so less complaining. :confused3

Afternoon!!! It's so cold and windy here. They went it down into the 20's tonight. I thought we were done with this kind of weather.

marie, I don't think you you will have to worry about the wind canceling the fireworks. Rain maybe, but in December, that's even unlikely. As far as ending your vacation with a bang, we tend to hit the fireworks on our first night there. It just eases us into the magic and really gets us excited to be there. Especially after our long drive.

I'm here! I'm here! I've just been so tired and busy that I've only been reading and not posting. I can't remember if I've posted this before but I am subbing fulltime in a Kindergarten classroom aide position. The woman I am subbing for went on maturnity leave and I was suppose to sub from early Feb to March 31st. Well, she decided not to come back, the Superintendent of our school district decided not to do a search to fill the void and here I am working full time until the last day of Kindergarten which will be June 19th. Money, money, money! Money! My DH is happy that I'm bringing in the old green backs and I'm excited because this means I can book the Hoop-Dee-Doo for our trip in November. We are doing the Quickservice DP so any TS or character meals we do will have to be out of pocket. I also plan on booking Chef Mickeys.

Thank you D&DD for inquiring about Sukie, she is doing fine. She is working 10 hour days and finds herself falling asleep in the recliner by 6:30PM/7:00PM every evening. We were able to get out last weekend and do some shopping in Concord, NH which has a small Mall, Target, Wal-mart and other assorted stores. We hit Ruby Tuesdays for lunch and found ourselves enjoying a Ruby Relaxer. Vodka, peach shnapps, coconut rum, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and a slice of orange pulled it all together into a wonderfully tasty little beverage.(Don't tell anyone but we ate lunch at 11:00AM; it's five o'clock somewhere, right?)

The weather here has been downright nasty. Pretty much whatever racetrack and whgrn are getting we get the next day. Rain, rain, rain and wind, wind, wind! Damp, cold, I HATE IT!!!!!! I want summer dang nab it!

M&N: I was sorry to here about your friend's nephews passing. Yikes! They weren't leaving you much time to get ready. You should have told them you would do it if you could show up in your jammies.

whgrn: No way in holy heck would I have allowed my daughter or son for that matter to go to the birthday party of a 23 year old man/woman! You made a good call and now that you are going to see Gram you don't have to worry about it.

BKMETV: Glad to hear "BOB" is feeling better.;)

Sorry if I missed anyone. You know I LOVE YOU ALL so much! :grouphug:

Have a good night!

WOOHOO!!! I think I finally fixed the problems I've been having on here. I was messing around on here earlier and I changed the background colors and now it works much better. It's actually faster and I can post in color again.

Pikester, that drink sounds great. Could use on myself right about now. Tell Sukie I said hi!! Yeah, I agree, this weather just plain old stinks.
