Hey LITC!!! Not much going on here except I got the Dis to work for me almost the way it used to. Kinda made my day when I figured it out. At this point in my life, little things make me happy.

Let's see...
My daffodils are blooming, and my ?narcissus? (looks like white daffodils w/ yellow centers) have just started. My iris have poked up, but won't bloom for a while (actually, they never bloom, something bites the tips off and leaves them on teh ground.) I have one random tulip courtesy of the previous owner that pops up in the middle of my yard, and that's up, but no bud. And, I've noticed the crop of daylilies along my road is starting to peak. So, could be a tulip or a daylily. Sorry, just random spouting about flowers... it makes me feel more springy.



Sounds, kind of cool.. maybe we should do that. Then we could search for any specific randomness we were thinking about.

Ok, I have some thrilling news... I wore my "skinny" jeans!!! I'm still nowhere near back to my pre-pregnancy form... I'm pretty sure my tummy will never look the same... but I wore them, and they fit, and I sat comfortably in them for several hours. (Even if I did have a bit of a "muffin top." But, that was well covered w/ my shirt, not like I'm showing off my midriff anymore! - Never did much anyway...) Maybe I should celebrate w/ a big bowl of ice cream...

Ok, gotta run... just trying to stop by when I can.

Hey Lighttech! Glad you are springy in your skinny jeans! Always good to hear from you. I think you need hot fudge on that ice cream---it's so cold here!

It's going to get to 82 today.

Glad you ducked...It was 81-85 while I was in FL and it was horrible to come home to wind and cold. I really think the comments were just jealousy.

Hey Liv...I guess we are having a bad case of skinny jeans envy and spring fever. Speaking for myself---I just wish I could wear my fattest jeans! After coming back from FL, I think they shrank. (That's my story...)

Hey all, crappy day at work, had to run some errands after work-those where actually kinda crappy to, and now my favorite has been voted off Idol. I think I am done with that show. So I am in a bad mood. Well at least there are only 23 days until vacation!!!!!!

Oh and I am for sure not in my skinny jeans anymore. In fact I tried on my loosest pair Monday morning and couldn't even zip them.

Race--we had honest to goodness snow two days this week if it makes you feel any better. And it was bitter cold, not sure of the exact temps, but brrrrr

Hey---you are going to move down there so you cannot be mad that I got to enjoy it for a few days! I will agree about leaving the skinny jeans conversation...I wasn't allowed to have jeans when I was a teen. We could not even wear pants to high school. I had to buy my own jeans for Girl Scout camping. My dad saw it a sign of being poor I think. He had to wear them and didn't like it.

LITC, I hear ya. We only had flurries this morning when I had to walk DD to school but the wind was blowing like crazy and felt colder than heck out there. I was getting worried the kids might have to look for Easter eggs in the snow.

Who was watching Idol? I only had volume up. I think the blind guy got kicked off...they wouldn't save whoever did. I know Danny wasn't in bottom 3.

I watched Idol, yes Scott got kicked off, I wasn't sure if I should say before. I didn't want to ruin it for anyone.

Skinny jeans? I vaguely remember those but haven't seen any in ages!

Not sure what our temperature got up to but I did see my first hummingbird outside. He flew by the window looking in like "HEY! Where's my feeder?" Must mean spring is really on the way!

I hope you got the little guy some juice! Our robins are thinking they should have emailed the grounghog for his forecast!

We're the only ones here...everyone else must have watched it. I hope I didn't spoil it...I guess I could edit this but I doubt they care that much.

It will be spring soon. All our Jersey shore seagulls are gone. Every winter, they overtake almost every parking lot around here. When they are gone, it means spring will be here soon.

Are you getting better weather this weekend? I was going on a walk around town to various churches and they have a few words about Good Friday and sing a song. The churches are within a 9 block radius I guess. I did it last year and it was neat...but not going if it's raining and cold.

We even get the seagulls this far west. I came out of the grocery store and felt like I was at the shore with the noise. The temperature didn't convince me though. Someone told me they come to find food but these were on the parking lot...probably smelled the fries at Mickey D's and thought they were on the boardwalk!

Tomorrow is suppose to be beautiful. But they want rain on Sat and only in the low 50's for the rest of the weekend.

When the seagulls show up here, that's how I know it's really winter. And yeah, they are always around the fast food places.

Wow M&N that sounds like a really cool thing to do for Good Friday. I don;t sing. AT ALL. Not even for the lord, I'm afraid to admit, but I would love to be at a church and hear that.
