Ok, 36 days and counting, I decided I would attempt to do a pre-trip report, and hopefully onto a live trip report for the first time.
Bama Ed inspired me with his recent pre and live trip reports. So many great photos especially of the fort. They came at just the right time as we are weathering the last of a winter that won't quit and looking forward to our trip. Thanks Ed!
I am not a huge poster here but we have taken countless tips and advice off these boards. This will be my first attempt at posting pictures so if they don't work right away bear with me.
A bit about us; after a recent addition to our family, we have eight children. This will be the youngest's first trip to Disney, also a record for our kid's youngest trip to Disney as he will be 3 months, the previous record was 9 months. In addition my wife and I we have DS19, DS17, DS16, DS12, DD10, DD4, DS2, and DS 6 weeks.
So here we go, it finally warmed up enough here, and stopped snowing long enough for the snow to melt off the motor home. So this weekend I was finally able to go out and open up the slides and start checking it over a bit closer.
You can see Sulley is already packed and ready to go in the front window.
The kids won that little chipmunk spy guy hanging in the front window from Chip and Dale at our last trip to the Fort. Since then he somehow finds his way around the house hanging from chandeliers and banisters and anything else with height. Not sure when he made his way to the RV but he clearly means to hitch a ride back to the Fort to see his old pals.
Of course we have already started to pack the necessities for a three day drive and two weeks at Fort Wilderness.
That pic didn't come out the best, but you can never go wrong with popcorn, pudding, and cookies.
and of course
and for sanity
That is all I have for now, looking forward to arriving, we will be there May 16 - 30th. I can already hear the boat whistles.
