SD...okay, I missed it. What ADRs do you have?

We had many ADRs on our trip with the DGKs. We only booked one a day when it was just me and DH at Christmas. We had the DxDP with the kids, but bought the 'Tables of Wonderland' card in December.

We just booked Chef Mickey's for dinner on 6/23. The girls booked (or are booking?) lunch in Cinderella's castle. I hope they booked it already. Could be difficult if they haven't.

Really? That's good to know. My main concern, aside from already having too many ADRs for my liking, is the fact that there's so little variety in terms of food. We're used to Chef Mickey's where there's a bunch of things to choose from.

Do you remember what the scrambled eggs were like? I see people on the rest. board raving that they're "creamy," and others ranting that they're "runny." I won't touch a runny (read: not fully cooked) egg with a ten foot pole (or, fork, as the case may be), so I'm a bit concerned about this too.

Oh I am with you on that one. I refuse to eat damp eggs...ACK!!!!!!!!!!! :crazy2:

I'm so jealous of you all with your ADRs and your planning :( I have no Disney trip planned...I'm *gasp* going elsewhere :faint:

Hah...and SD, you sound like my family...check out my dining report!! We planned the entire trip around food. Including our counter service!

As for Marrakesh - skip it and try Tangierine Cafe -- my sister, BIL, and I all thought it was 100 times better than Marrakesh (they have the desserts too).

i agree actually. for me, there were more vegetarian options at tangerine, and it obviously costs less. the inside of marakesh is neat (but you can walk in and look at it if you want to see it) and they have the show (which is okay i guess), but it's tangerine for me. and the desserts are a must...fruity, custardy, deliciousness.

Great news about Honu!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Coral Reef!!!

Yes, its a very serious disorder -- not something to be taken lightly.

No kidding. It sounds like a serious disorder.

I don't know too much about bipolar disorder. Would a person who shows symptoms of being bipolar start to impersonate other people at all? Just curious. Or is that schizophrenia? Is there a difference?

I remember the eggs being the best ever! I can't do runny eggs either - I've even been known to send back omlettes before if that helps ;)

Breezy are you a TGM member? There is a Breezy on the June thread and I wondered if it might be you.

.

Well, I doubt it because I have no idea what TGM is :rotfl:. ;)

We aren't scheduling many ADRs this trip:

Coral Reef-2:10
Sci-Fi 3:05
My 15 yo has invited 2 friends as her guests, so 3 15 year olds aren't that into eating. I want to lose 5 lbs-maybe I'll lose it on this trip! I have the concierge working on a Cinderella but that's a long shot.

Coral Reef is awesome IMO! We loved it - we had some service issues, but we don't tend to dwell on the negatives. Food - kicked booty

I hope dinner is good, there. I got an adr there in June.
.

Dinner is AWESOME, again IMO. Can't get any better than awesome food, entertainment, and getting an incredible view of Cindy's Castle overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon. :goodvibes

:yay: Great news about honu! Yay God!!! Prayers will continue. :goodvibes

Sorry debbieandroo - I meant to get something off to you for her and :headache:. No excuses, just scatterbrained :sad2: . If anyone talks to her, send her my love and well wishes please! TIA

To me, it doesn't really matter. From my experience its all a disease IMHO that needs to be treated. Alot of times you can pick them out of a crowd.

I'm not a psychiatrist. I have known people who had loved ones with this disorder and it caused a lot of heartache for family. I would not even begin pretend I know anything more about such illness and certainly would not start throwing such terms about to obtain one upmanship on a discussion board. JMHO

I'm just curious about this disorder. This is a good topic to discuss.

I happen to know of someone who was taking on the persona of other people 'for fun' - so they say :confused3. However, I think that there may be some serious underlying condition that may have caused the person to do this. I'm really not sure. This person could possibly be a danger to others. I'm seriously concerned.

I thought you were here having a discussion with us. :confused3 Isn't that why your here?

Didn't realize is was about 'one upmanship'.

Well then, get off the internet and call a medical health professional to handle this person or you will then have some responsibility if anything does happen.

DO you think this particular case could also manifest multiple personalities?

Actually, I don't think it's either. I think people (not to include paid performers whose identity is clearly known) who impersonate someone else for any reason are engaging in a form of identity theft, and if they were doing it to cause humiliation or harm to the person whose identity they've stolen, well then, I'd think of those imposters as sociopaths, as obviously they have no conscience or guilt feelings.
