About Honu -- I called MD Anderson and she just left surgery a couple of hours ago and is in recovery. I wasn't brave enough to ask how she was doing -- something about calling every hour and talking to the same nice lady does that to you. From what I gathered through our many conversations is that nothing's unusual [I mean, the fact that she's in recovery rather than intensive care seems like a good sign].

I've been so nervous about this the past week - I can't imagine what she and her parents must be going through!!!!

Thank-you for the update. I have been thinking about her all day. Please update when you know more later.

Update on my friend! I confronted her today and she broke down crying poor thing. Turns out she's recently been dx with bi-polar disorder and is now on meds. Poor thing. She admitted to me that she is jealous of our mutual friends and just got to a breaking point. Ah well, needless to say I'll be praying for her. If I could ask y'all to pray too, that might help. Thanks in advance.

If she's not already, I'd really encourage her to see a counselor or therapist as well. It's best to tackle BP with both medication and counseling. A friend of mine in college went the meds only route, and she didn't start showing more improvement until she also started counseling. Horrible time for her and her family. Prayers to your friend.

As message boards are open venues, harassment is hard to identify. However, harassment on a message board can be shown if a message is forged to appear that it came from you or if it contains certain direct threats or libelous statements.

What you need to do if you feel you are a victim: do not delete anything. Notify the board administrator immediately. Tell the harasser to stop.

You don't have to give out all the information that they ask for. I just put my DIS user name and email and it seemed to go through all right. You just have to put Honu's real first and last name in the patient information part. The message will be delivered right to Honu! Here's the link:

Wow, you leave town for a couple of months and everything changes. Oh well. Thanks for the add, Wonder, I never would have found this otherwise. I hope it is okay for me to really quickly say that a certain former pastor and former Arkansas executive came to my school today and spoke in chapel, and I was three rows away from him. All of my Facebook friends can see pictures if they want. They'll be crappy, though.

My dad was just diagnosed with bipolar. Not a fun thing to deal with. He went manic at the end of last year and I had never seen him so out of control in my life. I had to go stay at my aunt's house for a week since I was living at home at the time. She's definitely be in my prayers.

Really? That's good to know. My main concern, aside from already having too many ADRs for my liking, is the fact that there's so little variety in terms of food. We're used to Chef Mickey's where there's a bunch of things to choose from.

Do you remember what the scrambled eggs were like? I see people on the rest. board raving that they're "creamy," and others ranting that they're "runny." I won't touch a runny (read: not fully cooked) egg with a ten foot pole (or, fork, as the case may be), so I'm a bit concerned about this too.

And frankly it sounds like you were very fortunate with the Sci-Fi ADR... I've been reading the dining board a lot for the last week or so, and for some strange reason, people are having a heck of a time getting an ADR there. Good for you! And I bet that cruise'll be a ton of fun. I've never done CRT in the morning, but CRT for dinner was great. Wonderful atmosphere.

Yes, we know we are in the twilight zone when Sci Fi is an ADR we're calling for at 7am.

We have done Cinderella's breakfast before and I intended to skip it but my niece (19) never got to go and wanted to. It has really gone up in price too!

The cruise should be fun. I was so surprised because it was my second call at about 8:15. I thought for sure they would say none were left. I got lucky with it and it will be a nice way to get away from the crowds for awhile.
