Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

I asked my son to set up my name, which he selected, and he also used his favorite character, Donald Duck, as my avatar. He knows I love Disney, and that was his "Tribute" to his Mom.:)

ETA: You should see what he chose as my passwords!:lmao:

How kewl!!

I wonder when we will hear something. Was Soarin' going to keep us in the loop?

Anyone know how long the procedure is? Honu's surgery was supposed to be 8'ish.

Honu's one brave girl. She has an amazing attitude.

Did anyone else back in the day burn their black Maybelline eyeliner with a lighter so it went on darker and smoother? :rolleyes1

Yes!!:lmao::rotfl2:

zzzzzzzzzzzz.............

Come on, you gotta love those people in their ivory towers looking down on the rest of us poor slobs. :teeth:

Ni Hao, everyone! How's it going?

Me either! :confused3.

The shoes were really kind of gross. Nothing like sweaty feet AND sweaty arms. :scared:

:rotfl:

 Gag. I never had either one of those. I just could NOT wear the plastic clothes. I have a serious "thing" about synthetic fabrics (can't stand to touch them, let alone wear them) but I did have the silky all-over print shirts and the satin jackets. I thought I was so stylin'. :lmao:

(snip)
:rotfl2: Oh yes- I was a fashion victim of the 80's. :cool2: Crunchy, flammable hair and all.

On the subject of large, flammable hair, I was looking for a picture to show you guys yesterday...you'd have been hysterical. I couldn't find it, so I'll just have to describe it: It was 1985, and I had a freshly permed long bob, and I went with a friend of mine who was modeling in a hair demo for a local hoity toity hair designer. The guy ended up short one model (or live dummy head, really) for one of his stylists, and asked if I'd let her do my hair. I had NO idea my fine, baby weight hair could stand up like that. I swear I was over six feet tall when she got done with me, and a foot of it was vertical hair. :rotfl2: Think "Bride of Frankenstein." Gotta love the power of Sebastian. It was scary.

And of course I melted my eyeliner to get that Cleopatra thing going on. Not only that, but several of my male friends did too, cuz they were getting that Ozzy thing going on. :thumbsup2:lmao:

So I was sitting down watching TV at 5pm eastern time and I felt the compulsion to STAND UP
Hmmm,,,, Strange dontcha think?
I stayed home from work today, cause Im not feeling well.
Just popped in to see if we had any news about Houn

Does anyone remember Call to Glory
It was on im the early 80's and was about the Vietnam War

I fell in love with the sight of men in flight suits because of that show
To this day, I drool and ifs even worse it the have an Aussie accent:rotfl2:

:lmao: I always did have a thing about a man in uniform.... Sorry you aren't feeling well today. Hope you're back up to snuff quick.

I DVR at 5pm, but I don't think I'm allowed to mention the show or channel.

That's super hard. Hmmmmm-----I'm going with 3 Dog Night (it won out because I remember having it on 8 track LOL).

Paul McCartney: Beatles or Wings?

for me - definitely WINGS.

 I just played the song in my siggy for the heck of it and DS came running over to me to watch and listen. He loves it! Seems like the tune is catchy. ;)

I just listened to it -I've seen the movie but it's been a while. Didn't realize that the tune is background music in Liberty Square (at least I think it is!). The beginning of it sounds like the Revolutionary War music in the American Adventure show.

I think she is an inspiration! Her parents raised a beautiful girl!:thumbsup2

Agreed! :thumbsup2

I like Wings! Funny show.

:rotfl: My kids just made two American flags and got the toy drum out. Now they're having me play the song while they parade around. God love 'em, this is too funny.

Oh yeah.....I seem to always land on a certain program that has become very popular as of late! I also have found a new love for M&M's, cake and Jenga!

:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: BAND, dork. Not show. (Hope you don't mind me calling you dork...it's a term of endearment in my house, honestly :flower3:)

And my take on that one is NEITHER. I hate Beatles, in all forms. I know that's sacreligious, particularly for a person born in the 60s, but...there you have it. My shameful, secret cultural failing. :rotfl2:

And I'll go against the flow and say Eagles, too.

Pink Floyd or Yes?
