Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

About Honu -- I called MD Anderson and she just left surgery a couple of hours ago and is in recovery. I wasn't brave enough to ask how she was doing -- something about calling every hour and talking to the same nice lady does that to you. From what I gathered through our many conversations is that nothing's unusual [I mean, the fact that she's in recovery rather than intensive care seems like a good sign].

I've been so nervous about this the past week - I can't imagine what she and her parents must be going through!!!!

yeah it was. I wasn't even sure what i was questioning you about, exactly, just knew that i didn't understand your answer. :rotfl2:

Musta been too much lds back in the 60s. :hippie: (star trek reference :rolleyes1) probably on my part. You're too young. Oh wait, so am i. I wasn't even born until the end of the 60s.

So you don't like yes??? That was hands down the best concert i ever saw. Wasn't even really "my kind" of music at the time, but it was a great show. Floyd isn't really my thing either, but it is my husband's favorite. I was listening to entirely other kinds of music in the late 70s and early 80s.

disco?????

I'd have to be reminded just what a Yes song sounds like. It sounds like I'm just a touch younger than you (1970 here).

Oh that's good!! I'll take it as good news anyway!

k. i LOVE jimmy! even in the car, i must have shark fins on my head (which means driving with my knees) when the proper song comes on.

and if still had carniverous habits, i'd like mine with lettuce and tomato, heinz 57 an french fried potatoe, big kosher pickle and cold (diet pepsi, actually), well good (probably can't say the name on this thread) almighty which way to i steer, for mah....

Haha...I do the same thing. Scares my bf to death when I drive :rotfl2: And I think you can have a nice juicy (?) Garden Burger in place of a regular burger. That should work just fine... And I like my Cheeseburgers with Raspberry Margaritas :cloud9:

And, in fact, Wonder - both you and Dolce inspired me to take my own solo trip in April - I was able to go with a fabulous group of friends in January and now I'm ready to take WDW on by myself. It'll be great to get a different perspective....gotta love that AP upgrade.

you will have such a beautiful trip!!!! will you take your computer with you? i'm sure i'm not the only person who'd enjoy trip-in-progress info. :teeth:

No wait wait. WHO is your favorite band? Three Dog Night? Cuz otherwise we're in agreement. I was going against the flow by voting FOR the Eagles. ;)

The Eagles rule!!:thumbsup2

He was my first crush and my only celebrity love.:goodvibes Well except for this weird thing I have for Vince Vaughn.:rotfl:

Thanks Debbie, for the good news update on Honu.:thumbsup2

i still haven't had a chance to see the pixie hollow attractions at either of the parks yet. that photo must have been taken pretty soon after it opened...very neat.
It was taken over at Disneyland in late October the 2nd day it was open. We spent our last 20 minutes of out one and only EMH in line and then another 40 minutes in line waiting. But, as you can see, it was worth it! The pixies were awesome and we did not feel rushed at all :).

ETA: Thanks for the Honu update!

Thank you for the updates! I've been thinking about her all day.

Update on my friend! I confronted her today and she broke down crying poor thing. Turns out she's recently been dx with bi-polar disorder and is now on meds. Poor thing. She admitted to me that she is jealous of our mutual friends and just got to a breaking point. Ah well, needless to say I'll be praying for her. If I could ask y'all to pray too, that might help. Thanks in advance. :goodvibes

sounds like she needs all the prayers she can get -

Anyone know how long the procedure is? Honu's surgery was supposed to be 8'ish.

Honu's one brave girl. She has an amazing attitude.

Hi everyone :hippie:

I have also been thinking of her today. Glad for an update that she came out okay so far. Even my one son came home from school and asked how my friend on the DIS was today after her surgery. It was nice he remembered. Hope to here more soon.:thumbsup2
