Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Hi, guys! I haven't been here for a few days as there is nothing that interests me on the DIS anymore. I just took a quick look around the CB before I popped in here to see if anything exciting had cropped up, but it is just as boring as I expected. YAWN!

I plan to pop in once a week or so to say hi to my fellow lasagna lovers , but otherwise I won't be around. Please don't forget about me! And if you all decide to go elsewhere, I would love a PM! I would really love to be able to discuss the world around us without having to do it in code.

I agree with this. If you all decide to congregate somewhere that current events can be discussed, please let me know.

I'll keep reading here because I like keeping up on how everyone is doing.

They are like jelly shoes- except it's a jacket :rotfl: A better explanation is it's more of a plastic see-through jacket.

They come in candy colors, and you sweat like a pig in them. I had a few. :thumbsup2

:rotfl:

You may have been sweaty but you were stylin'!!!! :smooth:

And HONU -- I know this is late but you are in my thoughts and prayers today. I know all will go well!!:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

I guess we've learned there are a lot of different situations. I took the bar 2 years out of school because I had to save the money to take the bar, I had a one year old, and was working full time. Plus, I didn't have the money to take a bar review course. Again, everyone is different.
Nice to know that so many people care though especially about a person none of them even know.

That is kinda strange, isn't it? :confused3

Okay - sit-com battle of the morning: ENDORA v. Gladys Cravitch

Endora without a doubt!!!:thumbsup2 :cheer2:

You may have been sweaty but you were stylin'!!!! :smooth:

:rotfl2: Oh yes- I was a fashion victim of the 80's. :cool2: Crunchy, flammable hair and all.

Did anyone else back in the day burn their black Maybelline eyeliner with a lighter so it went on darker and smoother? :rolleyes1

OMG studentmom! :rotfl: I remember how your feet slid around in those shoes. :scared: :rotfl:

Breezy -- we watched Johnny Tremaine last night -- now my little one is singing the Liberty Tree song too. :rotfl::rotfl:

Ok, now I'm going to have to buy a Johnny Tremain DVD sooner rather than later. Although its still several years before DS0 will get anything out if it. This one is for ME!

:wave2:

I've been out of town for a few days. OH THE CHANGES!!! :scared:

Ummm...I'm gonna go do an update on my trip report :) ENJOY!

I'm at work so I have to do one big post again.

Yes, I'm a 70's/80's child-I had wings AND big hair (not at the same time, though!)

I have to admit that I did, too.

Whatever you folks do please let me know. I do enjoy reading your responses.

Add me to the loop, please!

:thumbsup2

Is your preference to toss a salad or stir a pot.:scratchin

Salads are healthy and are great with pasta so I vote toss a salad! but, i do have a salad spinner.

::yes::

You're So Vain -Yep, I love Carly Simon. :goodvibes

Arnold vs Webster - I'll take Arnold....although I think Alf could take them both. :teeth:

This is fun.....popcorn::

You're So Vain
Webster of the two choices, but I liked Alf better, too.

I had a Shaun Cassidy silk jacket and guitar in the third grade.:rotfl:

I didn't have the guitar, but I had a jacket and poster.

Admit it - you had a subscription to Tiger Beat;) (LOL)

:rolleyes1

The greens must be getting bitter, and sending the bunnies out in search of something sweeter to munch on.:lmao::rotfl2:

"I Think I Love You"

I was sleeping and right in the middle of a good dream
Like all at once I wake up from something that keeps knocking at my brain
Before I go insane I hold my pillow to my head
And spring up in my bed screaming out the words I dread
I think I love you

This morning I woke up with this feeling
I didn't know how to deal with and so I just decided to myself
I'd hide it to myself and never talk about it
And did not go and shout it when you walked into the room
I think I love you

I think I love you so what am I so afraid of
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of
Though it worries me to say that I never felt this way

I don't know what I'm up against
I don't know what it's all about
I got so much to think about

Hey, I think I love you so what am I so afraid of
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of
Though it worries me to say I never felt this way

Believe me you really don't have to worry
I only wanna make you happy and if you say "hey go away" I will
But I think better still I'd better stay around and love you
Do you think I have a case let me ask you to your face
Do you think you love me?

I think I love you
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you).

:headache: Well at least ya didn't yatube it :rotfl:

Well, in these difficult economic times, some of us do care (even about strangers) who are trying to get ahead one way or another and want to give our fellow citizens the benefit of the doubt when we hear stories about people doing just that.

Morning!

I'm going to see if our library has Johnny Tremain. I think my older kids would really like it.

Oh, and I like Endora, so I vote for her! :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm trying to think of some of my favorite shows to watch as a kid (I'm 32). Can you believe I use to beg to watch Dallas...at ages 4 and 5?? What was my mama thinking? .
