For those who followed my story on DH's lost wallet...

And my worries about flying in here in 18 days...his driver's license came in the mail today, 5 days after applying for the replacement. (where is the whew! smilie when you need one)

So much for the 3-6 weeks he was told...just SO glad that this is not a worry come departure time.

It's Sunday so it must be divine intervention. At church today, DH got a call on his cell ~ I so thought it was work ~ but it was the golf course saying they...

Found his wallet! A week later, after all the stuff we had to do, the thing was found on the grounds sometime after 3pm yesterday. Good gravy.

Thanks for letting us know - glad the wallet was found. Hope all the credit cards, etc. were still there so you don't have to worry about someone else using them.

I'm AMAZED that he got a new license from MN in only 5 days - maybe you should buy a lottery ticket today!

Curious... which golf course? Chominix? What else is over that way.... maybe Tanners Brook in Forest Lake....... hmmmmm.... lol

I work my summer job at Rum River Hills in Ramsey, but that is a bit far for you... though I worked this morning with a guy today who also teaches at Centennial HS! I also teach and for some reason, my summer job is still going on..... someone forgot to tell them it is October!

Aha! The first thing they teach in Customer Service 101. Underpromise and Overdeliver. Great news. And even better that his wallet eventually turned up. I would still keep an eye on your credit report for a while, but it sounds like it all turned out as well as it possibly could.
