For those of you who have stayed at POP . . .

Is there such a thing as the 'perfect building'? Something close to the bus, pool, food court, guest laundry? Which building would be 'fun in appearance' for 9-13 year olds? Thanks for your ideas!

did you have a standard room or preferred room?

Perferred rooms are only in the 60s building (maybe 70s- I don't remember 100%)

So all the other buildings 50s, 80s, 90s- those are all standard.I requested the 50s for our upcoming trip. Looks like it right in the middle of everything!

I would definately request the 50's section. The 60's is considered the "preferred" but the 50's is really just as close and you don't have to pay the extra $. We stayed in the 80's and it was a LONG walk at the end of the day w/ a 3YO. I'm sure we will stay at Pop again and if we do I will request the 50's. We also liked the decor better in that section. Hope that helps.

We've stayed in the 60's and 50's. We're going again and are paying extra for the 60's. It's wonderful to step outside your door and see the whole resort and your fingertips. The hippy-dippy pool is awesome to see from above. Plus, depending on how you are with your kids, I've let mine return to the room on their own from the pool because I could see them go And the hippy-dippy is much more exciting than the bowling pin pool.

But whichever building you are in, you'll love it because you'll be in the midst of the magic!!

All the laundry rooms are at every pool. Therfore, you can do your wash while you are swimming. Also I noticed last year that the washers and dryers are SUPER FAST and Powerful. I did a complete load of wash & dryed it in a hours time.

We stayed in the 70's last year, and it was great. Hoping to get the 50's this year. But truly no matter which building you are in, it is fine. Disney did not "shortcut" on any of the bldgs. Your DK's will truly love all bldgs. Mine was 10 last year....he was CRAZY about the POP! So much so that I was going to purchase DVC property, and decided against it...since the POP IS the place to be.
