I checked the past trip reports and saw that you did WDW over the 4th...we will be there 7/2-7/10.I know to expect crowds, heat etc., but have you ever experienced the parks closing entry due to capacity? We may not get there for e.e. each time as we have a 6 y/o who's bound to bottom out sooner or later. We will be at CSR for the 1st 4 nites.Any help/tips greatly appreciated.

on July 4th in the daytime we were at epcot. We left epcot and got on the monorail at 4pm heading to Magic kingdom for the july 4 fireworks extravaganza and on the monorail it announced that magic kingdom was filled to capacity and unless someone was a resort guest they were letting no one in. Well we were staying at marriott world center and decided to still go. When we walked to the turnstile they didnt stop us or anyone else to go in. I think they were announcing all over in disneyworld transportation to relay the message that it was filled to capacity to avoid further crowds. We did not have a problem going in at all. In fact they were very friendly at the turnstiles and knowing disney they would never just turn you away. Let me first say that it was VERY crowded and there was no place to walk, sit,or even stand. they were closing the main street area with ropes so people from frontierland, toontown could go on main street once the fireworks started. We stayed in frontierland and saw the huge fireworks display.
if you have any other questions i will be happy to answer. :D
