Food safe gloves?

I'm looking for a food safe disposable glove to use when handling raw meats.

Is this something I can find at Walmart? I'm heading there today and would like to grab some if I can find them.

Would they be in the food section or maybe the HBA section? Thanks

Not sure about Wal-Mart, but Sam's Club will have them. I think they are in with the other food prep items like foil wraps. I always bought mine at a restaurant supply store. I use them for handling chili peppers.

If you can't find them locally, look on Amazon - they have everything.

I have found them at Target over where the health supplies are (diabetic stuff). We've actually had to send a box in for school (science class) and that's where they were there). I would ask the pharmacist at Walmart. You will also get a choice between latex and vinyl. My husband buys these for working on his bike (cleaning small parts with solvent).

You want to look near the first aid stuff. I won't touch raw meat with my bare hands so I always have them on hand.

I use Playtex Clean Cuisine disposable gloves, which I can find in my local supermarket (Stop & Shop). I love them.

I tried them and hate them.

If I wear gloves for food I use the latex fitted kind that a Dr/medic would wear. Never had an issue with them. Just remember to wash your gloved hands before touching food as they are powered.

We get ours from a restaurant supply store. The brand is called Sani-sure. They say food prep on them and they are vinyl, not latex.

I use the plastic ones from Sam's. I use them for everything. It is worth it for me to keep my membership just to buy those gloves.
