Food Delivery Service Question

I know alot of you use wegoshop for food supplies and delivery, and I'm thinking of using that service too. One question, though.....what if I'm not in the room when they get there? What happens? Thanks! :cool1:
 
YES...I'd love to know that too! We're checking in LATE at OKW but I'd love to order my food so we don't have to stop...just need some basics but what happens if we're not there? How late do they deliver? :confused3

It is my undersanding that if you are not in your room and you have not made other arrangements for payment than they do not leave the food. You ca make arrangements to have the food left at the front desk if you tell Wego that ahead of time.
 

we used wegoshop over the Fourth of July holiday, and they were great. Very easy to work with an very accommodating. We weren't sure when our room would be ready, arrived at BCV around NOON, they just had me take their phone number with me to call when it was ready. Luckily I gave them my cell number, as I checked my carry ons with bell service and in it was their number. The wife called me about the time we were on our way to our room to collect our bags.....the husband was on his way and would be there in 20 minutes.
 
My experience with them is that I've always given them an estimated time of my arrival to my resort, they've given me a phone number to call once I'm in my room, and usually after making that call ( to tell them my room number) they've arrived with everything within 20 minutes. they'll even put the cold & frozen stuff right into your frig/freezer!

I've been very happy with their services.
 
Everything is delivered to your resort. Example, we thought we might miss the delivery from We Go Shop so we set it up that it would go to OKW (they store it in the shop area and put cold items in the frig. Then the packages were delivered to our Villa via an OKW cast member) We of course tipped the delivery person in addition to the We Go Shop people. It does add another tip but it is worth it to us. I couldn't be happier with the service we received from all parties to this delivery.

What items will Wegoshop.com deliver to you? Can you get items that need to be frozen or cold? How do you go about ordering from them? Any help would be appreciated.
I have never used any of these type of services and would like to on an up coming trip due to DME.

wegoshop.com will take you to the master website. they shop for you at any store you want them to; therefore, you can order anything that you would be able to purchase from your local store. they happened to buy all our stuff from publix because we didn't specify, not being from the area. the website walks you through the process. what we did a couple weeks before hand was go to the local store and look at sizes and brands so we could be exact in our ordering. for example, heinz ketchup, 8 oz., one pound folgers decaf. our order included refrigerated and frozen items which were delivered in large coolers. it's their business and they really knew what they were doing. we did allow for substitutions, and he did fine with that. there were even some buy one get one free deals which allowed him to split with another order to save money. it's like they are shopping for themselves.
