I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question but I've never been to Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival timeframe. Is it dumb for us to schedule a dinner at one of the restaurants the day we are planning to go to Epcot? I'm hearing about food stands, etc. Do most people simply walk around purchasing from the stands?
Well I would say it depends on what you want to do with regards to food and dining that day.
As I love the food stands but depending on the day sometimes they're very busy, like the last time I went and mutter something I never thought would pass my lips "Wow Belgium is Popular" lol and kidding to any Belgium peeps.
Also there are little table for you to stand and eat but if they are busy it can sometime just be copping a squat on the floor.
So if you are okay with these things, I would say hit the food stalls for all your eats (as you might have to go to a couple until you're full depending on what and how much you want to eat).
But if you want something a bit more relaxed and guarantee seating, you can always book a restaurant have a main there then use the stalls for your starter and dessert and of course a post dinner drinky![]()
I'm sure you'll do it! We did it in 2013. You can get a passport from the food and wine festival centre and get a stamp from each country as you eat or drink there. It's challenging but a very fun one. This year as I'm there for 2 weeks and staying in the Dolphin, so I'm within walking distance and can pop over quite a lot..
I plan to have at least one thing from every stand so that 30 stands over 14 days - it might be hard but I'm sure I can struggle through![]()
May not be that interesting for a 3 year old, but if they're kept entertained I guess it could be OK. I've always considered it more of an adult occasion reallyHow do you think a 3yr would do at F&W?

Mr. Littles was almost two when we went last year, and he kept up with me bite for bite. He is generally an expansive eater though (hope it sticks!), so if you have one that does not get excited about trying food, it may not be quite as fun.How do you think a 3yr would do at F&W?
We did it with a 3yo and 18mo old. At 3yo our son was accustomed to trying different foods, so that part went well! I think it's a matter of keeping them entertained along the way, still fitting in naps (at least for us that was important), and ideally going when it's not TOO busy. I did not have a ton of fun negotiating a stroller around BIG F&W crowds. How do you think a 3yr would do at F&W?
