FOMO strikes 😬

Okay I gave in. I booked a Destiny cruise. I wasn’t crazy about Marvel theme although I liked the early Marvel movies.
We were on one of the Treasures inaugural cruises and it was the BEST!
So now I’m seeing some of the Destiny merchandise, food, … and that’s when it hit.

Has anyone else been hit by FOMO??

Ft. Lauderdale will be a new experience for us. Any advice ?

I think you are asking for advice on FL but I’m keying in on the rest.

If the only reason you are booking is FOMO, I wouldn’t. You aren’t keen on Marvel. If you want to cruise go on a ship that you already know and like.

We are booked on the destiny in March 26’ and I was disappointed with the preorder stateroom gifts. I ordered the blanket and pillow set and the treasure box for our treasure sailing and love them. The blanket especially is so soft with a nice picture of Peter Pan and Hook with embroidery too. The blanket and pillow set for the destiny looks so plain with just half of Spider-Man and black panther’s mask outlines, it also doesn’t look embroidered.

I wonder if you have a later sailing and that’s why it doesn’t show up for you as all the items show they need to be ordered by 3/11/26. Here’s the pictures of the destiny items. The kids pack is cute and reminds me of Toodles from Mickey Mouse club house when my kids were little.

I wouldn't say that I have FOMO but I'm sure I'll do a Destiny cruise at some point to check the ship out. I'm just not super motivated to book it in any hurry since the hero/villain/Marvel theming is not my jam.

Honestly, it is never a bad idea to book a Disney Cruise. Even the worst possible Disney Cruise is better than a day at work. You do you and enjoy it. We are on the Destiny in January. We also just got back from a trip to Korea because my wife has family there and as we were talking about a return trip in 2028, we thought wait, the Adventure will be sailing and that is a shorter flight from Korea to Singapore. We are not going to miss that opportunity.

I experience ROMO every week not FOMO. ROMO is Realization of Missing Out which I feel every week UGH.
Next DCL is Sept 2026 Treasure then Feb 27 Dream 7 night.
Going to book something for March - May next year but not sure what. We may try VV or RC as we’ve only done DCL
Until then ROMO every week UGH

Thanks for the pictures. I saw the speaker and the cute speaker but not the blanket set.

I am determined to do all of the ships at least once (although, I don't know if the Adventure will ever happen). I haven't done the Wonder yet, but currently booked for the Destiny next Sept

We just got off the Treasure on Saturday and at the Platinum level we may be done with DCL cruises. I have no desire to do the Destiny.

The Treasure is beautiful, service was great but we noticed missing or things that have been reduced.

We no longer need the Disney vibe so we’ll
be trying other cruise lines.
