Flying Fish or Palio?

We're having dinner one night with friends, and they suggested 2 possible places. Seafood and Italian both sound good, but which would you recommend in terms of overall restaurant experience? We've never been to either, so help please!!

I'm leaning toward Flying Fish just because of all the good reviews I've heard.

Well, we LOVE the Flying Fish.

Can't compare them though because we've never tried Palio. We always mean to... maybe next trip!!! I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

Palio and Flying Fish are both among our favorites at WDW. Both have great food and good service. Wine list is a little better at Palio, but I am partial to Italian wines. Palio is usually not that crowded, so it makes for a more subdued and quiet dining experience. Flying Fish, meanwhile, has an open kitchen and is often crowded, so there is more energy there, but it can often get quite loud. You can't go wrong at either one.

Ive never been to FF(I dont eat seafood), but I did have a very enjoyable meal at Palio last year. I would definitely go back there again.

We just returned on Saturday and ate at the Flying Fish this trip. The food was wonderful albeit a little pricey. We both had iced tea, shared an appetizer and each had an entree and with tip our bill was $110. We also ate at Artist Point which is located at Wilderness Lodge. Their food is good too! Have a wonderful trip!

Never tried Flying Fish but we loved our dinner at Palio-very good food and service and very nice restaurant!

Hard decision. Both are really good. FF is a little more expensive but Palio's is really great. I love fish, so FF is great for me.

The Flying Fish is our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World...that goes for my 5 year old son too!! We just had a fantastic meal there last week and look forward to another in July!!!
