Florida Resident Discounts???

Is there a certain time of year that the discount applies or is it good any time?

How does it compare to early booking discounts? Would you get both or just one or the other??

Usually there is some kind of FL Res discount and SOMETIMES you can use both. Best thing to do is keep checking - even after you're booked - we were set & ready for Sept 7th & we had our TA call to check rates for my parents who were considering joining us and DCL was running a 24 hour FL Res special (unadvertised!) and she managed to rebook us at the lower (by $400!) rate! This was last week so it really looked like a last-minute-let's-try-to-fill-the-ship kind of a thing. We had already gotten early booking & FL res discounts so it made it even better.

Certain seasons when the cruise ships are not full is when they offer the FL resident specials. I have had my cruise booked well over a year now so I got the early booking savings. About 1 month ago when they announced the FL resident specials my price went down $940 for 2 adults and 2 children. The trick is if you are not already booked and the rates are announced you need to book PDQ because to rooms go quick. If you are already booked keep your eye out for the special then call your TA. In my case the TA (dreams unlimited) called me. They are great.

There are Florida Resident specials offered now for 7 day cruises only in October and November. We had originally booked a 3-day cruise for 2 adults and when the offer came out, we changed to the 7 day cruise because the cost was only $500 more for both. Pretty good deal.

We have a 7 day Western cruise booked for October 26 for 3 adults and 1 child cat 10. I just called Disney yesterday and questioned the Florida Res discount for fall sailings and wound up getting a credit back of $750.00!! So, you just need to keep calling and asking about FL res discounts, because they won't just give them to you.
