Florida Part-time resident question...

So, I'm a part-time florida resident and I have a DL that states "valid in Florida only". My main residence is in Minnesota. Do I qualify for a resident pass? I already ordered my tickets and I'm in possesion of the "exchange" certs, so I'm wondering if I'm not allowed the resident passes am I able to "upgrade" these to non-resident passes?
